Spot the Dog Kids Guide To Sun Safety

Stay Sun Safe with Spot

AGuide to Healthy Skin

Meet Spot! Spot loves to play outside with his friends, but he knows too much sun could hurt his skin. Here’s how Spot stays sun safe, and you can too!

Before going out, choose sun- safe clothing like a wide-brimmed hat, long sleeves and sunglasses.

Plan your outdoor activities and play time to avoid peak sun hours between 10 am and 4 pm.

Remember to reapply a broad- spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen every two hours, or more often if you sweat or go swimming.

When playing outside, try to find shady areas to stay cool and protected from the sun’s UV rays.
