Cincinnati, OHIO. Taft High School Football Team announces its second Golf Outing Fundraiser for their football team! Registration is at 8:00am. The event will take place Saturday, June 4, 2022 , at the Avon Fields Golf Course . The Golf Outing is 18 holes and includes a silent auction and a grill-out dinner. This event will be a blast and a huge support for the Taft Senators! FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: April 2022

Entry Fee: $130 for Individuals and $520 per Team. Make Checks Payable to : Activities Beyond the Classroom (Memoline: Taft Football)

A note from Coach Williams

It’s that time of year again! On June 4th 2022 we will be hosting our second annual Golf Outing presented by Taft Football.

I’d like to start off by sincerely thanking all of our supporters as well as encourage the community and alumni to come out and make this Golf Outing our most successful one yet! Come spend the day with Taft Nation as we network, raise funds for our student athletes, and most importantly; have fun! On behalf of the Senator Football team, we are asking you to help us build upon something special. These team events, like our Golf Outing, are solely for preparation of the upcoming season. Donations, support, and networking will help provide more access to college showcase camps, traveling expenses, weekly pre-game meals, team bonding activities, and much more!

I’d like to also thank each Senator fan for watching our journey and cheering us on from the stands each game! Because of your loyalty, buy in, and support we were not only able to watch history unfold, but we also witnessed some pretty incredible accomplishments that include:

•2021 CMAC Champs

•8 Current players with Division 1 offers

•2021 CMAC coach of the year

•5 Players signed to play college football

•First in the conference in rushing yards (2,794)

•2021 Defensive player of the year

•2021 Kicker of the year

•First in the league in interceptions (20)

•First in the league in sacks (37)

•2021 Punter of the year

•5-0 League play 9-2 Overall Record

•Defense only allowed a total of (27) points in conference play. •Offense was the #1 scoring offense in league play with (145 points)

•#1 Seed Team in D-V Region 20 State Playoffs

•Regional Semifinalist

•First team in program history to win 2 playoff games in a row
