Since I have been crowned ‘The Entrepreneurs Godmother’ by a plethora of the world's most successful entrepreneurs including Dragon’s Den and Apprentice winners. In recognition of my services to Entrepreneurship and Business, I was honoured with an MBE in 2020. I was also invited to attend the Queen’s Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace and was twice named one of the UK’s Top Ten business advisers. I also regularly consult with Downing Street to give my opinions on the business landscape. My debut book ‘Secrets of Successful Sales’, is an international best-seller, has been stocked in the Top 10 Business Books in WHSmith, and was featured in the Independent’s 2019 Top Business Books written by Women. My mission statement "When it's delivered correctly, sales and customer service are exactly the same thing", does not come from a textbook, but a combination of my passion and experience of international hotel management and sales for some of the world's top blue-chip companies. Based on my work with entrepreneurs, I am now fortunate enough to work with multi- national conglomerates such as Sky, The Discovery Channel, Yell, and The European Commission, to teach their teams to think intrapreneurially which encourages growth mindsets, outside of the box thinking, and ultimately leads to an increase in both company-wide innovation and results.

How To Get To Harvey Nichols, Bristol The access to Harvey Nichols in Bristol is via the side door (partly obscured by sca ff olding at present). This is the entrance facing H & M of Cabot Circus on Penn Street, (and not the store entrance along from The Apple Store on Philadelphia Street). The door opens to Members and Visiting Guests at 7.15am and we'll get going with co ff ees in the Top Floor Restaurant (via lift). Parking - the easiest option is the NCP at The Marriott. It is less than 1 minutes walk to the venue. Alternatively, Cabot Circus Car Park is nearby and 7 minutes walk.

We’ve grown from 4 to 12 groups since the lockdown started and now we’re back in-person! We have limited numbers for this special trial meeting and we’ll o ff er you either a green or red sticker upon arrival to indicate whether you’re comfortable with handshakes etc. This is an opportunity for you to meet around 25 other business people, connect and network, mastermind a business question and hear from a speaker. The guest speaker is Alison Edgar MBE and you’ll hear from the Founder, Jamie Breese and our first-ever group leader - Matt Richardson, too. Matt Richardson: Group Leader

Matt launched the first group meeting for EVO in April 2016 at Bristol's Brasserie Blanc restaurant. The following month, we moved the meeting to the 13th century monastery which was part of the complex. Matt runs his own business called Recognition Express and is a band member in Limited Edition. Matt leads EVO Genesis with both a sense of urgency with an eye on the clock, but an immensely playful spirit. People come to his group for a fun start to their week and a big liftoff which lasts well after the meeting ends. He has been networking for years and leads several groups. He started helping Jamie as a Co- Host at the Only Connect meetings (500+ people per meeting) back in 2008. Connect with him on LinkedIn today here.

The frequency of meetings will therefore change as will the prices, in the New Year.

These are all included in membership, which is currently £149 per quarter (every 3 months). The joining fee is £150. Prices are ex vat.

Guest Speaker: Jamie Breese

Jamie is the founder of EVO and EVO Ultra. He has been running business events for 13 years: stadium expos, online and in-person EVO events in premium venues and dozens of upper-tier networking balls for 500+ decision- makers at Only Connect. Jamie has engaged speakers from Baroness Brady to the Secretary of State for International Trade, from Rob Law MBE to Labour peer Baroness Primarolo. He has officially partnered with and welcomed speakers from firms like Facebook and Google and co-promoted and compered ‘Boris Means Business’ with the Prime Minister. The Business Showcase South West is the largest business event in the SW of England and has been held 10 times to date at stadium venues. Alongside this, he has developed a contacts book as an event host, columnist at the Sunday Mirror for 20 years and a presenter of more than 500 network TV shows in the UK and US. He won a 2 year ‘first look’ deal with Steven Spielberg and Mark Burnett as a writer and director and has made a dozen films and videos to date. Currently, he co hosts/co produces the weekly LinkedIn accredited show The Biz Live and continues to work for charities, having helped raise over £1m as an auctioneer, compere, or organiser.
