A Look Into Me

My Trip To Kansas City November 11th- “I decided to do a quick weekend trip to Missouri. After getting up at 6:00 am, I drove up to Springfield, Illinois where I visited: the Abraham Lincoln National Historic Site, Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, the Illinois State Musuem, Old Capitol Building, and Lincoln Tomb. I worked up an appetite and ate a Springfield Classic: Horseshoe Sandwich. After visiting all of those free museums and enjoying a free meal( Veterans Day), I drove back to St. Louis to visit Gateway Arch National Arch. The museum exhibit is very nice and the ride to the top of the arch is worth it. Tomorrow, I hope to explore St. Louis before catch- ing a train to Kansas City, MO.” November 12th- “Today has been a busy day. I got up at 6:00 am, ate breakfast and walked to Gateway Arch, taking pho- tos on my 2.8-mile, roundtrip walk. I returned and checked out of my hotel. I then briefly visited Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis before driving to Forest Park, a site of the 1904 World Fair and many attractions. I then visited the Missouri History Museum and St. Louis Art Museum. Both free museums are a impres- sive - the St. Louis Art Museum is enormous, an hour did not do it justice. I did manage to power walk my way through most of the exhibit rooms. After all that walking, I caught up with my friend and fellow Stanford ‘08 alumni Darius Richardson over lunch. At 4:00 pm, I boarded an Amtrak train bound for Kansas City. I’m now chilling on the train.” November 13th- “Kansas City is an underrated place. Today I walked over 10 miles visiting the Nelson-At- kins Art Museum, Kempler Contemporary Art Mu- seum, Workd War One History Museum and Negro Leagues Baseball Museum . All of the museums were great and the three didn’t charge admission (The art museums are always free and the WWI museum is free for vets this weekend). I also tried out a turkey BBQ Sandwich from Arthur Bryant, well-known KC eatery. It’s only 7:15 PM, but I’m done for day, I don’t plan on leaving my Air B&B tonight. One: I’m tired. Two: I’m a solo traveler in an unknown city. Tomorrow, I return home. I have one goal: make my way into Kansas - my 34th State.”

in-person when the vaccine receives full approval from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for middle and high school grades, making California the first state in the nation to announce such a measure. In order to further protect students and staff and continue supporting a safe return to in-person instruction for all students, the Governor directed the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) to follow the procedures established by the Legislature to add the COVID-19 vaccine to other vaccinations required for in-person school attendance—such as measles, mumps, and rubella—pursuant to the Health and Safety Code.
