LAGO CHAD: (Nigeria, Niger, Cameroon, Chad)

Millions of people are affected by the clashes with a wide territorial extension caused by the expansion of terrorist groups. Not only by economic and material losses and a loss of resources, but also continuous damage to mental health. Children and women must take refuge in search of humanitarian aid. Epidemics, destruction of infrastructure, forced recruitment.

CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC:

It is one of the poorest countries in Africa. They are continuous victims of suffering, armed conflicts, poverty, malnutrition, sexual violence, economic and health conflicts. Faced with this helplessness, they seek refuge in neighboring countries in search ofg assistance and containment from groups, among them Chad, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Cameroon and Sudan. It is a poorly funded emergency situation that has an impact on new areas. There is a high rate of malnutrition in children, who lack access to health, food, and education.

ETHIOPIA:

It is currently immersed in a civil war linked to the Tigray conflict. The country is in a state of emergency and the atrocities committed are public. It is a conflict that spans generations. Thousands of people have died in the country, refugee centers were destroyed, a conflict that gives rise to ethnic violence, the worst refugee exodus in 20 years. Sexual violence and executions characterize the actions of forces and groups, the media are repressed and have no access to the country, even humanitarian aid has been blocked. LIBYA

It is reported that Libya has suffered crimes against humanity since 2016, , such as torture, recruitment of child soldiers and mass murder by all actors in the conflict, internal or external. The attacks not only occur in cities, but also in refugee centers, hospitals, schools, all product of air raids. The population lives in inhumane conditions, those detained are in clandestine prisons in poor conditions, where they are subjected to atrocities. There are disappearances and executions of children and women.

BURKINA FASO

Conflict involving various armed groups, millions of people were displaced from their homes in the face of hundreds of daily attacks, including sexual violence. This conflict turned into a great humanitarian crisis. It also reaches border countries such as Niger, Chad, Mali, Ivory Coast and Benin. The entire population is without resources and suffers great psychological damage. They do not have access to food or drinking water either, therefore being vulnerable to disease. They lack hygienic conditions.

REPUBLIC OF MALI

The humanitarian situation continues to deteriorate as conflict causes displacement and increased humanitarian needs, particularly in the bordering regions. Human rights violations and abuses, which resulted in the deaths of many people, have been documented. Those responsible for these abuses include armed groups, militias and community armed groups, as well as national and international armed forces.

MOZAMBIQUE

Mozambique is under a triple threat. Since 2020, the armed conflict has re-emerged in Cabo Delgado, attacking civilians and their homes. As a consequence, these people have had to flee. The pandemic has worsened the crisis . In addition, they suffer climate emergencies.Historical tribal wars caused death and orphanhood. DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF THE CONGO. Millions of people are acutely food insecure. This is a country that has been dealing with conflicts, epidemics and natural disasters that have driven people out of their homes.

SOMALIA

People need urgent humanitarian assistance. Somalians have been forced to abandon their homes in search of food and water due to the combined impact of conflict, climate shocks, flooding, drought, and shocks such as desert locust crop damage and the pandemic.

SUDAN

HAITI:

It is going through a devastating crisis in every sense; natural, political, humanitarian and health. The Haitian population suffers from an outbreak of cholera disease, and there are not enough resources to assist them. In August 2021 a high magnitude earthquake devastated the country, following the assassination of its president. Unemployment, deaths and poverty abound.

EL SALVADOR, GUATEMALA Y HONDURAS:

These countries make up the northern triangle of Central America, they are linked by socioeconomic conflicts which force their population to emigrate and poverty abounds. Corruption and violence in the streets affect the lives of thousands of people who flee every day.

MEXICO:

Thousands of immigrants enter the country daily, which causes conflicts, there are violent detentions. Immigration restrictions are in place, leading to a search for new clandestine roads for refugees. The pandemic has generated humanitarian conflicts in Mexico, especially in the affected sectors, adding to the climate events that they suffer every year. Drug dealing and the fight against it has led to many deaths and an atmosphere of persecution and danger.

UNITED STATES

Hundreds of people seek to cross the border from MEXICO to USA daily, fleeing poverty and misery. 2021 saw the largest migratory wave, a product of the humanitarian crises which increased during the pandemic. Many of the migrants are detained and deported back to their country of origin. Entire families suffer from the effects of this emergency.

Death and shock prevail in Kentucky, whole towns in the North American state were devastated by the twister, leaving the local population homeless and without supplies. Climate change has again left its mark on people. A state of emergency was declared. It is considered the most devastating tornado in that area.

VENEZUELA:

Many crimes against humanity have been committed.Thousands of Venezuelans flee poverty, repression, and humanitarian emergency, more than 32 million have taken refuge in neighboring countries.

COLOMBIA:

A great humanitarian crisis where the protagonists are different armed forces in addition to the structures of the former FARC-EP, currently not covered by the Peace Agreement under a centralized control. Great ethnic conflicts, discrimination, displacement, repression and mistreatment, the indigenous and Afro-Colombians are the most vulnerable and suffer the largest number of attacks as proof of the continuous abuse of human rights.

A conflict that is on everyone's lips is the Mapuche conflict in Patagonia. A state of emergency was declared in the south of Chile due to the clashes. AFGHANISTAN

A country characterized by the armed conflict between various government forces, which as a consequence has led a large number of people into exile, their rights being vulnered. JORDAN

It is characterized as a country that shelters hundreds of Syrians, this causes economic conflicts in Jordan, since it needs resources to regularize the status of immigrants and provide adequate infrastructure.

YEMEN

It is the poorest country in the Arabian peninsula. It is going through a civil war as a result of the 2014 coup against its president. The war in Yemen left 10,000 children dead or with amputated limbs at the beginning of the conflict between Houthi rebels and a military coalition. War crimes, arbitrary detentions and enforced disappearances have occurred. Human rights activists have been harrassed.The difficulties have been exacerbated by weather conditions, a fuel crisis, the COVID-19 pandemic and plagues.

SYRIA

Syria has the largest refugee crisis in the world, 80% its population is below the poverty line, they seek refuge in neighboring countries where they live in poor conditions and without resources, fleeing poverty, terror and violence. Access to humanitarian aid presents difficulties due to insecurity. All the institutions and the economy were destroyed by the war. The violation of Human Rights is widespread.

MYANMAR

The COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated its ongoing humanitarian crisis and took the lives of thousands of people. Irreparable damage has been caused. There is a continuous persecution of health workers, which leads to the destruction of the health system. They are also going through an armed conflict that worsens day by day, and there are obstacles for those who provide humanitarian aid.

UKRAINE

The Ukrainian population has lived in a state of crisis for years. The country's conflicts are classified as the deadliest in decades. Children and women are surrounded by violence and dangerous situations. As a consequence of the conflicts, access to health, education and public bodies is impeded. The pandemic has aggravated the situation, and hundreds of civilians are offered help to repair physical and mental damages. Russia's invasion of Ukraine constitutes an international crisis, the deployment of troops generates chaos and fear in the population. The conflict has its origin in Russia's refusal to allow Ukraine to join NATO and the European Union.

HUMANITARIAN CRISIS UKRAINE REFUGEES

The war between Ukraine and Russia has generated a severe humanitarian crisis. Thousands of people are fleeing the country in search of refuge in neighboring countries. The world is executing contingency plans for Ukrainian refugees, creating humanitarian corridors and providing medicine and food to thousands of civilians. The destruction in the cities is total, the hostilities increase more and more, hundreds of victims and dead. A great violation of international humanitarian rights, where it is estimated that millions of Ukrainians could leave their country.

IMPACT OF WAR

The eruption of the volcano on the Spanish island of La Palma caused the loss of homes and the evacuation of thousands of people. The lava covered urban areas ,destroying absolutely everything. As the days go by, new lava channels are generated. The devastation is not only material but also emotional and psychological, people have lost homes and workplaces, emigrating from the island in search of refuge and humanitarian aid.
