What is conventional Street Light? • A light usually mounted on a pole and constituting one of a series spaced at intervals along a public street or highway What is the purpose of conventional street lighting? • To assist drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists in finding their way in the dark • Street lighting also improves safety for drivers, riders, and pedestrians. • Some people believe that extra street light helps prevent crime

What is disadvantages street light? • Less environment friendly, More pollution & carbon dioxide emission. • High Electricity cost. • Low safety. Since there are wires involved, there can be a risk of short circuit or other accidents.

What is Intelligent Street Light? • Intelligent street lighting refers to public street lighting that adapts to movement by pedestrians, cyclists and cars. Intelligent street lighting, also referred to as adaptive street lighting, dims when no activity is detected, but brightens when movement is detected What is the advantages of Intelligent street lighting? • More environment friendly, less carbon dioxide emission • Low Electricity Cost required. • Low Maintenance cost
