Welcome Back 2020-2021

Monroe County Community School Corporation

ENGAGE EMPOWER EDUCATE

On behalf of the Board of School Trustees and Administrative Team welcome back to the school year 2020-21. Thank you for all of your work last school year and providing the best education possible to our students. We have all been affected by the Pandemic in various ways. Our team has met with numerous people throughout the summer on a continual basis to prepare for the Re-entry and Recovery Plan for students and staff. We feel confident that we will meet the needs of our families. Our goal is to provide a safe environment for students and staff, provide equity in our learning platforms, bridge those gaps left from last year and provide flexibility. As we transform The Academy of Science Entrepreneurship and anticipate the completion of Tri-North Middle School, we will continue to provide excellent educational opportunities for our students. The many achievements of our students and staff is always cause for celebration as we recognize those who are so deserving. We also want welcome our new staff members to the Monroe County Community School Corporation. This year, we will not meet as a corporation but allow you time to prepare. Please be prepared to meet with your Principals beginning August 5. Our students will begin August 12 online. Please find the attached change to our Re-entry and Recovery plan. Thank you for your understanding, flexibility and grace as we move forward on behalf of our children to school year 2020-21. Professionally yours,
