Camps

How did you meet Jesus? For so many young people, their story of life change begins at a Word of Life camp where they participated in exciting activities and heard biblical teaching. Your gift makes it possible by providing much-needed scholarships and discounts to those who cannot afford to attend and might not otherwise experience the Good News of the Gospel. No matter where a person finds themselves in life, your partnership enables us to offer a camp for every member of the family. With day camps for kids, overnight youth camps for all ages, and family camps that help each member of the family strengthen their walk with Jesus... there’s something for everyone . My life was changed because God provided a scholarship for me to attend the Florida Youth Camp! I gave my life to Him! During that week it was if God was telling me, ‘Freddy, I brought you this far because this is My plan for you.’

Youth Ministries

A young faith needs to be fed. We know the next step of life change happens through the local church. Your gift allows us to equip local church youth leaders with step-by-step curriculum and companion devotional guides that propel all ages in their walk with the Lord. Additionally, throughout the year we seek to strengthen and encourage this growth through evangelistic outreach events, such as Reverb and Fascar. Your generosity provides student scholarships for these events and helps to provide leadership training and one-on-one coaching sessions to encourage and renew our frontline youth leaders to effectively minister in their communities. It is easy to look at a big event (like a week of camp) as the only factor in spiritual growth. However, it’s the weeks and months of ministry leading up to that event that put students in a place to listen to the Lord. The other 51 weeks a year in your youth ministry lay a foundation for the big events to be more impactful and for that impact to last long after the event is over. It is also the weeks and months following the big event that continue growth in a student’s life.

Bible Institutes

Because we know finding the will of God is a result of studying the Word of God , Word of Life Bible Institutes are training students to dig deep in their study of the Scriptures. Your gift makes training possible for young adults who are hungry to understand and to apply the Word of God at one of our Bible Institutes. With campuses in both New York and Florida, the one and two-year programs educate and prepare future pastors, missionaries, evangelists, and professionals who make an eternal difference in their communities. Over 90% of our student body receive some financial assistance to attend our Bible Institutes.

International Ministries

From the training ground to the mission field, your financial partnership sends out foreign ministry leaders and continues to equip them through discipleship and biblical training, creating sustainable impact in lives. Word of Life remains committed to sharing the message of salvation with those who have never heard as friends like you support over 1,600 missionaries in 80+ countries. Your investment in missions helps young people around the world attend local church Bible Clubs, evangelistic events, camps and Bible Institutes! I shared the Gospel on Friday, and a young man patiently waited till I was done talking with those who had invited Jesus into their lives. He says to me, ‘Thank you for the message. I truly believed and invited Jesus into my life.’ The next day I drove to see him and others who were saved and presented them each with the Solar Bible Audio. Before he received the audio, he said a few words and then thanked God for saving him. Amen!!
