Join with our Open Air Evangelism ministry team by taking a weekend trip to local urban areas such as New York City. The Cross Cultural Internship allows students to discover what foreign ministry is like while serving overseas. The Youth Ministry Internship is designed to give students a glimpse of what ministry looks like in the local church. The Resident Leader Program allows students to receive hands-on experience in areas such as web design, photography, marketing, culinary, operations, and much more. PROFESSIONAL & MINISTRY EXPERIENCE

AFTER THE BIBLE INSTITUTE

After completing the Bible Institute program, students are able to easily transfer most credit hours to another college or university. Because of their extensive training and ministry experience, Bible Institute students are often recruited for leadership positions in the schools where they choose to further their education.

Pastor of the Summit Church in Raleigh-Durham, NC, he served with the International Mission Board as a missionary before helping the Summit Church grow to almost ten thousand members. He is one of the most respected Christian leaders of our day known for his Gospel focus. J. D. GREEAR

THE ERWIN BROTHERS

The Erwin Brothers, Andrew and Jon, are Christian filmmakers and directors. They wrote and directed Woodlawn , October Baby and Mom’s Night Out . The Erwin Brothers both attended the Bible Institute and directed their first movies on the Word of Life Island.

JARED EMERSON

After attending the Bible Institute, Jared decided to pursue the Arts. He had his first art studio in Poe Mill in 2006, and joined the Art Crossing in downtown Greenville, SC. Jared paints portraits for both business and ministry. His faith inspires his work and seeps onto the canvas.

RACHEL LEE CARTER

A former model, Rachel now speaks on the importance of modesty, purity, and evangelism. She is the author of Fashioned by Faith where she details her journey of discovering God’s truth about modeling, modesty and style. Rachel uses her platform as a former model to speak candidly about God’s truth and to share the Gospel. (recent Alumnus of the Year)

Each January the Bible Institute takes time to celebrate the work of God around the world at our annual Missions Conference. The Word of Life International Ministries branch leads in presenting the work of the ministry in over 70 countries, giving you an inside look at what God is doing globally.

The Word of Life Quiet Time devotional helps you read through the Bible each day, study it, and apply it to your life. Several nights a week you’ll hear short devotional Bible studies from students in your dorm, and you’ll even have the opportunity to teach one yourself.

+ 93% of our students receive some kind of financial aid, either from federal, state, or institutional scholarships. + On average our students save $18,914 over the course of attending our two-year program instead of another Christian college or university. + Many colleges offer exclusive scholarships to our graduates in recognition of their leadership, spiritual maturity and ministry experience.

CONFIRMATION SCHOLARSHIPS | $200 - $750 Save money by paying your confirmation early. CHANCELLOR’S AWARD | $500 - $1500 Awarded for connection to an Alumnus, Christian Worker Dependent, Leadership Development from Word of Life Local Church Missionary, or West Coast Resident. CHURCH MATCHING SCHOLARSHIP | $500 Your church can sponsor your time at the Bible Institute, and we will match part of that money. STUDENT LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP | $1800 Awarded to students who are selected to either a Resident Assistant position or a Service Resident Assistant position. SUPPLEMENTAL ASSISTANCE SCHOLARSHIP | $250 - $2500 Given to students with great financial need.
