2019 Errigal Newsletter

Our people are our business. With a workforce of over 1500, it is the commitment, care, experience and knowledge of our people and their dedication to our industry that continues to drive our growth and distinguishes Errigal in the marketplace.

NEWSLETTER 2019

DEVELOPING OUR FUTURE

A reflection on some of our high points over the past few years from our directors.

The new clients and relationships we have developed have helped us grow and given us the confidence that we have the right approach for our industry. Our workforce from Romania, Ireland, UK and other parts of Europe have made their commitment to our company and see their family life closely linked to Errigal and what we do. This gives us the drive to be successful. Working in 11 countries across all sectors of the construction industry has brought invaluable experience to our diverse workforce. This will stand us in good stead for years to come.

Training and Apprenticeships are now visible in all areas of our business and it gives us immense pride to see young people develop and grow professionally under the safety net of the Errigal family. All of the long serving leaders within our company have helped others along their journey. They believe in the message they deliver and help all understand. Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with our staff, supply chain, fellow sub contractors and contractors

Some of our Errigal family at work across UK & Europe

For those who have worked in our company and gone on to pursue a career elsewhere, we hope that they take some of our culture and ethos they have been exposed to with them.

Our Industry, our Future as we enter a new decade.

We will continue to play our part in helping our industry become more professional and accountable, lead by example and try to better understand the reasons why our company has developed and improved. Learning from our industry and industries around us, we will promote good practice and culture within the wider construction family “If we dream it is possible and work hard, light will shine on the right path for all of us” - Damien Treanor The most enjoyable thing working at Errigal is working with your friends everyday and constantly learning, especially from the young people, who bring a fresh approach and see things differently. This drives all of us to do a little better each day. As we grow, our office also grows and we have invested heavily in our infrastructure in 2019 which sets us up for the years ahead. A massive thanks to all in our company who worked hard to make this happen, from vision to final design and successful completion of the works.

We are proud that many of the goals we set for Errigal and our people have been exceeded and this can be seen across all areas of our company. This November our organisation broke through the £100m turnover barrier with a strong margin, our culture and our outlook for the future intact. The ‘Errigal way’ is alive and strong.

“ For 2020 the focus is to deliver on all the commitments we have made to clients, supply chain and to our people. It will also be a year of reflection and improvement internally to safeguard what we have and to prepare for the years ahead”- Cormac McCloskey
