Dear Members,
This week, the PGA Tour announced that BMW, the PGA Tour and the Western Golf Associaton signed a new fve-year extension for BMW to serve as the ttle sponsor of the BMW Championship through 2027. The PGA Tour also announced that the FedExCup bonus pool would increase from $60 million in 2021 to $75 million in 2022, along with an increase in the ofcial prize money for the BMW Championship from $9.5 million in 2021 to $15 million in 2022. ( Link to the press release below ) Public tcket sales for the 2022 BMW Championship are of to a great start with $453,000 in sales. The Member Experience ofering for WCC members has also been well received with 136 Member Experience tckets purchased to date. We have received some additonal questons related to tckets and have updated our Q and A list ( Click Here ). The Tour also announced the 2021-22 PGA Tour Schedule with the new purse amounts ( Click Here ). For those of you keeping track of your favorite players chances of making the top 70 for the 2022 BMW Championship, here is a list of the current top 70 at the end of the RSM Classic held last week in Sea Island, Georgia.
