HELPFUL TIPS AND INFORMATION FROM GOLD CANYON RV RESORT
Gold Canyon Nugget Valuable Bits of Information & Reminders
It has been a great season! Hopefully everyone has had some fun! I can’t thank all of you enough for your support. The workcampers worked hard and did a wonderful job putting on all of the great events. The volunteers were always there when we needed help, we couldn’t have done it without you. And I am especially thankful for all of you that attended the events. You are the reason we are doing all of this! For those of you leaving us, have a wonderful and safe trip home or wherever your RV or car takes you next. For those of you staying, we will continue to put together activities this summer in the ballroom so you have a place to get away from the heat. We are not quite done yet with the entertainment so keep your dancing shoes on and celebrate April in Gold Canyon.

Please don’t feed the Wildlife…..
Ducks & Geese are cute and adorable and their diets are delicate, not unlike many of yours. Let’s face it, they are messy too. They are being fed a proper diet away from the sidewalks used for pedestrians. This minimizes where they roam and do their business. If you can’t resist, please limit your feedings to vegetables and grains meant for them and do not feed on the sidewalks.
Thank you for caring with your eyes and hearts, not with your hands.
Just a Few Reminders…..
Some Important facility “housekeeping” items to remember:
BiCYCLES:
Please No Bicycle Riding on the side walks or in the lobby area around the mail boxes and water machines. Leave them at the curb. Or Walk it to a parking spot while being cautious of others. Bicycles should ride with the flow of traffic not against traffic.
PETS:
Keep your dogs on a leash (6ft or shorter)
Please pick up after them - At your own lot as well as throughout the Pet Area and in the Park. There are bags in the Pet Area for your convenience. Keep your pets on the street when walking them and do not allow them to run onto landscaping at other units.
MOTORCYCLE & QUADS:
Do not rev your engines. This is a close environment and the noise level needs to be kept down. (speed limit is 16 1/2 mph). Keep your speed down and be mindful of other traffic - people on foot, scooters, carts and bicycles.
Please do not leave your pets outside unattended. There are
coyotes and other wild animals here that may harm them.
DRIVEWAY WASHING:
VEHICLE IDLING:
Please sweep up debris and bag it in a trash bag. THEN wash down your driveway. Please do not wash leaves and other debris into the street. You do not need to wash the streets - street
Please keep “sit & idle” time of diesel engines to a minimum to limit noise and fumes.
GOLF COURSE:
cleaning will be handled by the Resort maintenance staff.
Please do not walk across the golf course, whether anyone is playing or not.
NAME BADGES:
Please remember to wear your name badge with this Seasons Pink Sticker. There are LOTS of new people who are eager to get acquainted and want to know your name. The Activities Office has replacement magnet bars for sale for $2.
