It is our goal to provide a high standard of service to our membership. Wilmington Country Club, a prestgious and private club is seeking a candidate to assist our I.S.A. Certfed Arborist. Candidate should have an interest in hortculture and arboriculture practces and experience is a plus. Knowledge in safe chain-saw use and woody plant care is also a plus. The assistant will train under the directon of our club Arborist. Climbing experience is not needed. The following are some of the dutes that will be performed and instructed: • Chain saw use and maintenance • Woody plant ID • IPM scoutng, pest and disease management • Proper pruning techniques • Tree removals • Maintaining tree nursery • Proper plantng and large tree moving • Maintaining fruit tree orchard • Operaton of wood chipper, 50’ lif and associated tree equipment • Roping and rigging • Soil sampling and fertlizaton of woody ornamentals • Other dutes as assigned
Salary commensurate with experience. Full-tme positon with benefts.
