If there was one thing we’d tell all of our clients, we would let them know that having Medisoft or Lytec is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of what we can do for them. Using those products and making the switch to EMR or EHR is great — but there’s a lot more that those tools can do, and you can really supercharge their capabilities while saving yourself time and money in the long run!

Billflash is the second add-on I think all our clients need to consider. It streamlines your billing practices, giving your patients bills on the spot. No more waiting on snail mail to get paid; you can present the patient with the cost at the end of the visit, and they can opt to pay right there and then! Even in 2021, I know a lot of practices are taking time to put bills together, print them, stuff envelopes, address and send them out, and then wait for responses before doing it all again. Billflash will help with literally every step of that, saving you time and money while also helping you get paid. If you end up deciding that you want to integrate more than a few applications into your software, you may also be interested in the Medisoft and Lytec Monthly packages, which give you one low flat monthly cost for all the integrated software available. You’ll get new upgrades any time they come out, and we also include training and unlimited support and installation as well. The last two are Electronic Claims and Electronic Health Records. These ones are a little more nuanced, but I think you might really benefit from them. The best way to learn more is to give us a call and give them a shot. All of these services are about one thing: addressing your pain points. Where do you lose time and money? The answer is different for each practice. and Lytec are killer products. But we have other add-ons for each of them that may be of real value to you. This month, I want to show you four of those add-ons, the ones I’d say are the most underutilized. You might not be aware of them, but they can really help turn your practice into a high-powered operation. The first is called Autoremind , which integrates seamlessly with your existing software solutions. This is, at its heart, an appointment reminder for practices that helps stay in touch with patients. That’s been a big deal this year, as new or altered office hours became the norm with COVID-19. But Autoremind lets you go further than that; if your patients see the text and want to reschedule, they can just text back. It’s simple, but so many software solutions don’t offer that feature, which will open up a text window with whoever at your practice handles the scheduling. I’ve seen dentists and eye doctors really take up Autoremind, but family and general practitioners can benefit as well.
