ABOUT US

Yates LLC is a prominent, well respected agency in the state of Georgia. Founded in 1949 by Dan and Alan Yates, the agency has grown to over 100 employees. Today, their sons, Danny and Alan Yates, run the day to day operations as President and Executive Vice President, respectively. Both Danny and Alan’s children are already being groomed to take over the business one day, holding the positions of Bond Underwriting Manager and Producers. Yates will continue to be a family business and there are no plans to sell or merge the business. Yates success in the industry is based on the quality of our people and sound principals of ethics and integrity. Many of our clients have been with us for over 50 years. As our reputation has grown, so has the agency. In 2006, the company expanded in the Columbus, Georgia market and opened an office with partners William Woolfolk and William Turner: Yates, Woolfolk and Turner. We are the largest bond agency in the Southeast and have clients throughout the United States. Our wide variety of clients include Commercial Property Owners and Managers, Contractors, Retailers, Manufacturers, Churches and Financial Service Organizations, just to name a few. Yates Insurance Agency is active in many charitable organizations and our people contribute both time and money to these groups, including Cystic Fibrosis, Breast Cancer Awareness and disadvantaged children.

Our mission is to continue our commitment to these principles by ongoing organized growth, utilizing the full potential of an experienced staff, leveraging technology, forming strategic partnerships and providing competitive pricing through financially strong companies. Our clients complete satisfaction will always be our number one goal.

BENEFITS TEAM

As the agency has grown, so has the Employee Benefits Division, comprised of a Marketing Team and Service Teams. Currently, the Teams are structured to provide optimum service support to all of our clients. Each client has a dedicated Account Manager as well as an in-house Service Representative to be able to respond to any and all client concerns. Additional team members are assigned depending upon the needs and size of the client. All personnel are kept up to date on changes in the industry, changes in the laws governing employee benefits, as well as carrier specific changes.

By combining our resources in a team approach, we are able to:

Analyze your entire benefit program to assure that it is meeting your needs

Assist in designing a responsible benefit program to protect your employees

Help select insurance companies/TPA’s that best fit our client’s objectives
