Our Products & Hotels All of our hotels are individually selected for their high standards of group-friendliness, cleanliness and quality of customer service. These attributes are essential requirements for all our products. The majority of our hotels also provide porterage and some provide a welcome drink as ‘standard’. In terms of access, the majority of our hotels also either have ground floor bedrooms or lift access. On the few occasions where this is not the case, we will make this clear in our hotel description.

Our Contract Managers don't sit on their laurels, they're always on the look out for new ideas or places to visit and how to enhance the excellent relationships we have built up with suppliers. To make it easier for you to find, we have devised some logos like the ones above. The first two speak for themselves, whilst ‘Once in a Lifetime’ signifies a longer tour, perhaps a multi-centre or one that ticks all touring boxes and 'Mix & Match' means that itineraries and hotels are inter-changeable, giving you flexibility and choice.

Lake Iseo and Monte Isola

Italy’s Idyllic Lakes & Countryside Tucked unobtrusively between the larger lakes of Garda and Como, Lake Iseo is nevertheless the fourth largest lake in northern Italy. Loaded with the charm and beauty of its more famous neighbours, this hidden gem sees just a fraction of the visitors, therefore making it the perfect place to soak up atmospheric alleyways, elaborate churches and impossibly beautiful vistas. Our hotel is located in the Franciacorta valley, one of the best wine growing areas in the north of Italy and a wonderful base for our fantastic tour, which offers a real taste of the region! SUGGESTED ITINERARY Day 1 Arrival We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner. Day 2 Iseo Driver’s Day Off We spend today at leisure and can either enjoy the facilities of our superb hotel or spend some time in the authentic historic centre of Iseo, where we can weave our way through the back streets to lovely open-air squares and a lakefront lined with stylish cafés and wine bars. The jewel of the Lake is Monte Isola, the largest inhabited lake island in southern Europe, which is easily reached by boat for anyone wishing to explore this unspoilt, traffic-free island and discover its unique culture. Day 3 Lake Garda Today we travel to Lake Garda and visit the town of Salò, boasting the longest pedestrianised, lakefront promenade on Lake Garda. Salò was the seat of the fascist government during the Second World War and consequently home to the infamous dictator, Mussolini, during this time. Traces of its prestigious past can be seen along the main street in the elegant historic centre lined with beautiful buildings, pretty boutiques and restaurants. In the afternoon we enjoy wine tasting at Cantine Redaelli de Zinis, a stunning winery to the south west of the Lake. This region is known as the Tuscany of Lake Garda and will provide us with an excellent, authentic Italian experience. Day 4 Bergamo & Lake Como Our full day excursion today first takes us to the old city of Bergamo. The lower part of the town is a modern metropolis that is in stark contrast to the upper part of the town with its maze of medieval streets. We can hop on the funicular that connects the two and take in the stunning views as we ride up. Continuing west to Lake Como, we travel along the south east corner, full of dramatic scenery, before we reach the pretty lakeside village of Varenna. From here, we take to the gentle turquoise waters on a short ferry trip to stunning Bellagio, known as the ‘pearl of Lake Como’. This lovely historic village is teeming with character and boasts a fine selection of lakeside cafés, offering fabulous views from all angles. Day 5 Iseo & Franciacorta region This morning we spend some more time exploring Iseo or enjoying the facilities at the hotel. After lunch, we visit nearby Cascina Carretto farmhouse, surrounded by vineyards in the renowned wine producing area of Franciacorta. This region is very well known throughout Italy for its production of top quality sparkling white wine, or spumante as it is known in the ‘bel paese’. We enjoy a guided tour followed by a tasting of 3 wines before returning to the hotel. Day 6 Departure After breakfast, we begin our journey home.

Lake Garda’s Glorious Northern Shores Mountainous landscapes, hillside villages and harbour towns line the shores of the spectacular northern tip of Lake Garda. All of our hotels are in fantastic locations, allowing you to explore medieval lakeside towns, the majestic Dolomites and the romantic city of Verona, or simply relax by the shimmering waters with an ice cream or Aperol spritz! SUGGESTED ITINERARY Day 1 Arrival We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner. Day 2 Riva del Garda/Torbole sul Garda Driver’s Day Off Today is spent at leisure. We can enjoy a stroll between Riva and Torbole on the flat lakeside path; it’s only about 3 kilometres and will take approximately 40 minutes to walk (one way). Spend some time in the beautiful old piazza of one of these towns surrounded by cafés and bars overlooking the lake. Alternatively, take a relaxing return boat trip to the picture postcard village of Limone sul Garda and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. Day 3 Malcesine & Lazise This morning we visit the ancient town of Malcesine. Its maze of cobbled streets sit on the edge of the blue waters of the lake, in the shadow of breath-taking Monte Baldo, the largest mountain in the Lake Garda region. A cable car can be taken to the summit for spectacular views across the lake and the Dolomites. The delightful old port is lined with cafés, restaurants, boutique stores and gelato eateries, so we can enjoy a stop at an outdoor café with a lake view. In the afternoon we travel via the scenic lakeside road to the pretty walled town of Lazise, with its paved lakefront promenade and fine sandy beach. Lazise also has a wonderful old town centre, with narrow alleyways, picturesque squares and harbour. With a rich historical and artistic heritage, the two main attractions are its ancient Roman Villa ruins, known as the Grotte di Catullo, and the 13th century Scaligero Castle. On our way back to Toscolano we can enjoy a fascinating olive oil tasting visit at Frantoio Manestrini, located in the beautiful rolling hills of the Valtenesi, with wine tasting also thrown in – well, we are in Italy! Day 3 Salò & Gardone This morning we visit the stunning town of Salò, boasting the longest lakeside, pedestrianised promenade on Lake Garda. Traces of its prestigious past can be seen along the main street in the elegant historic centre lined with beautiful buildings, pretty boutiques and restaurants. Saturday is market day, so we might also enjoy browsing the stalls. In the afternoon, we visit Gardone Riviera, a small yet beautiful resort with a piazza sloping towards the lakeshore and a peaceful promenade framed by flower boxes; just the type of town you can picture yourself lazing away your afternoons. Day 4 Toscolano Driver’s Day Off Today we have a day at leisure. The two towns of Toscolano and Maderno are joined together on a headland and naturally offer fabulous lakeside views. We can walk to the pretty port and beach area and relax, watching the boats gently bobbing up and down on the lake and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Day 5 Mantova & Desenzano del Garda The UNESCO-protected little city of Mantova, or Mantua, is one of the best kept secrets in Northern Italy. Known as La Bella Addormentata (Sleeping Beauty), it is surrounded by artificial lakes and has remained remarkably untouched by modern development. The stunning Palazzo Ducale dominates the city; it is the only residence in Italy that can claim to cover more square feet than the Vatican and is a marvellous combination of medieval and Renaissance architecture and artistic expression. Other notable buildings include the striking cathedral of Duomo di Mantova, with its Romanesque, Renaissance and Baroque architecture, as well as Palazzo Te, where incredible frescoes adorn the interiors. The beautiful Piazza delle Erbe and Piazza Sordello are both lined with cafés and restaurants. We return to the hotel with a stop at the vibrant and fashionable lakeside resort of Desenzano del Garda. Day 6 Departure After breakfast, we begin our journey home.
