Getting Started This guide was created to help you build your giant tree as qucikly and easily as possible. Follow the diagrams for a fast assembly! If you have any questions, feel free to contact the DDI tree experts for help.

Building Your Tree Starting the Frame

1) Find the bottom ring of your tree and place it where the tree will be located. (This will be the largest ring and will be labeled with the letter furthest down the alphabet. The letter of your bottom ring will depend on how many rings your tree consists of.)

2) Note that the lower rings of the tree may be in two or more pieces.

3) If the frame section is in multiple pieces, Frames will be labeled at the ends with numbers. Align the matching numbers and secure with U-bolts through the existing steel plates as shown.

Do not tighten the bolts completely until the entire ring is assembled.

Building Your Tree Continuing the Frame

1) Some trees have optional support legs. These can be secured to the bottom ring of the tree using bolts as shown.

2) Assemble the next tree ring on top of the previous one in the same manner. Use U-Bolts as shown to secure the two rings. U-Bolts thread through the plate welded on to the frame ring.

Secure all U-bolts loosely first. Tighten the U-bolts once you have all of them on the ring.

3) As you assemble the tree, make sure that the power runline runs in the same location on each ring.

Building Your Tree Power Line & Top Pole

1) Continue adding rings onto your tree in this matter, ending with ring A - the smallest ring.

2) Connect the

power runline together at this time.

3) Install the top pole by placing it into the hole at the top of Ring A. Make sure that the runline of the pole lines up with the tree runline, and connect the cords. Secure the pole by tightening the push bolts as indicated.

4) At this point, makes sure that all bolt connectuions on your tree are fully tightened.

Building Your Tree Beginning Foliage

1) Locate the lead cable at the bottom of the runline and connect to to your power supply.

3) Locate the 6 special branches (They are slightly longer). Fluff the branches so that they look full. Hook the first branch into the Upper receptacle on the pole closest to the runline. Plug the branch’s power cable into the socket of the runline. 2) Fluff the tree topper so that it looks full and install it on top of the pole. Slot the base of the tree into the pole and secure by tightening the push bolts. Connect the male plug on the tree topper with the socket on the pole runline. NOTE: Whenever possible, foliage should be ornamented before it is added to the tree.

4) Hook the second branch intothe next receptacle, and plugthe male plug on the second branch into the female plug on the first branch.

5) Place the rest of the special branches onto the pole and power them in this manner.

For outdoor applications, use a zip tie as shown.

Building Your Tree Fluffing Standard Branches

1) Fluff the remaining branches before putting them on the tree. Open all the branches, pulling them out to the sides and up and down to create the shape of a full branch.

Building Your Tree Installing Remaining Branches

1) Starting with the receptacles on the lower part of the pole, begin placing branches, securing with zip ties if needed. On each level, place the first branch next to the power runline and plug that branch ino the runline. Then place the second branch next to the first, and plug the second branch into the first one. Continue around the level in this manner.

2) Continue adding branches in this manner, one level at a time, working from the top down, until the entire tree is covered in foliage and every branch is lit.
