Situated on the ground floor adjacent to our stylish bar and restaurant, The Oak Room typifies the flexibility of the meeting facilities here at The Mandolay Hotel.

Whilst comfortably the smallest of our corporate spaces, The Oak Room offers the prospect of intimate private dining, a boardroom style meeting with presentation area for 20 delegates or a well-equipped venue for corporate receptions or presentations.

With ample natural daylight The Oak Room can be transformed from daytime meeting room to evening reception area in a matter of minutes and is also the perfect space for an exhibition ante room or registration area.

The Surrey Suite

The Surrey Suite is another perfectly self-contained meeting space, adaptable to almost any configuration.

The three rooms making up the Surrey Suite work equally well as individual, sound-proof units or as a single substantial venue for theatre style meetings of up to 180 delegates or more than 250 for a reception or informal meeting. The suite is complemented by an airy bar and reception area and benefits from direct entry from the hotel or via its own dedicated entrance allowing complete privacy, security and easy access to the hotel car park.

It is testimony to its flexibility that when opened to full capacity the Surrey Suite has an overall floor space in excess of 300m sq whilst retaining the atmosphere of a single well- equipped room. The Surrey Suite has full disabled access and is completely self contained with restrooms and well-equipped bar.

Subject of a recent £2million investment The Mandolay Suite features everything you would expect from a modern meeting and events venue.

With a theatre style seating capacity of up to 500 delegates The Mandolay Suite is comfortably the largest dedicated conference space in Guildford. Environmentally controlled air conditioning ensures delegate comfort whilst the natural oak panelled walls create a pleasant yet business like working environment. Integral AV equipment is situated throughout the suite and our dedicated conference and event managers are on hand to assist with all technical issues and requirements.

As with every meeting room in the conference centre The Mandolay Suite is entirely flexible, offering a number of sound-proof options from theatre style configurations plus syndicate areas and unobstructed exhibition space to large scale conference layouts. The Mandolay Suite can be transformed from a single large auditorium to its four component suites of Pewley, Warwick, Dene and Castle. The Mandolay Suite has full disabled access and is fully self contained with restrooms, bar facilities and direct access to the hotel car park.

The Mandolay Hotel

Accommodation

The Mandolay Hotel has 72 comfortable bedrooms including singles and executive doubles. Each bedroom enjoys completely free high-speed wireless broadband and all the usual facilities associated with a hotel of our quality. Room service is available and the hotel enjoys a 24 hour reception service. Some free on-site car parking is available to the front and rear of the hotel with ample overflow parking available nearby. Restaurant Widely acclaimed for flair and flexibility we have built a reputation for serving locally sourced and responsibly farmed food in a tastefully created restaurant environment. We are able to cater for any dietary requirement whilst our head chef and his team work tirelessly to deliver unfussy food to a consistently high standard. Service options include a full A la Carte menu, table d’hote and bar service Private dining is of course available and we are happy to discuss any menu choices ahead of your visit.

Bars

Private bars can easily be arranged in any of our meeting rooms whilst The Surrey Suite and The Mandolay Suite have their own exclusive bar areas. Teas, coffee and light snacks are served throughout the day and of course there is free high speed wireless internet access in all public areas of the hotel.

Our main bar is at once vibrant and sophisticated, offering a choice of service and seating options including bar tables, comfortable banquettes and open heated terraces. The bar is well stocked and has a selection of draught beers whilst our trained bar staff are delighted to serve a huge range of cocktails.

Road From M25 London Orbital:

Rail Regular services run to both Guildford mainline station and London Road station. From London Road Station: Turn left out of the station into York Road. Turn right at the Traffic lights on to London Road. The Mandolay Hotel is located directly in front of you. From Guildford Station: Turn right out of the station. Taxis are available.

Exit the motorway at junction 10 and follow A3 (S) for approximately 7 miles. Leave the A3 at the A322 Guildford / Horsham / Bagshot / Aldershot exit. At the end of the slip road turn left towards Guildford and immediately left onto Parkway. Continue on Parkway and take the third exit at the roundabout onto London Road. Continue along London Road for 1 mile, at the traffic lights continue straight, the Mandolay Hotel will be on your left-hand side.

Turn left onto the A322/Bridge Street. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto A246/York Road. Turn right onto the A3100/London Road the Mandolay Hotel is on the right hand side.
