INTERVIEW MR. SAJID TARAR

BY DR. HUMA

QUESTION# 01 From law school to being an entrepreneur and now joining US politics - what inspired you to be a politician? Law is directly related to the politics, I have been studying political science all of my life. Being a son of a lawyer; who was a politician himself plus I belong to a political family too. In Pakistan my first cousin was MNA for five years in Pakistan People’s Party and now he is MPA from PTI platform in Pakistan so I would say my political exercise started taking place at my home. I was also a student leader during my years in Islamabad and Lahore then the reason why you know law and politics is same if you see the 70 percent of the legislature parties all over the world they are having lawyers and plus another point is most of the American presidents- they have been lawyers as well, because for the lawyers law is the professional way to deal with social and political issues either they are domestic law cases or property related or anything so this is basically how law impacts politics. QUESTION# 02 You are the founder of "Muslims for Trump"- how did that idea spark in the first place? Reason I have explained that I studied political science all of my life so the traditional politicians and legacy politics had taken the politics to the dead end. If you look at my political career, you will notice that for the very first time- already a self-made and established person came to politics after accomplishing his business empire. I was ready to accomplish further leadership and created a platform for “Muslims for Trump” . PAGE# 20

QUESTION# 03 During COVID-19 many lives have been lost in USA and many businesses have been affected - how do you see the economic future of USA? In terms of COVID- it started from China- there’s nothing wrong to call it China Virus. I think China needs to be held accountable because they didn't allow the World Health Organization scientists to go Wuhan where it started from and they refuse to let the American scientists to go Wuhanooh at the same time. COVID has the same impact as the 3rd World War for world economy and other related issues, no country was prepared to deal with covid. but the sad part is that COVID came to America covid did not go to the Shanghai and the Beijing. but it came to New York which is one of the social States of America. Unfortunately, when the COVID came here when the elections are near and Democratic parties one or two are politicizing the false propaganda; in reality, Donald Trump has done a wonderful job in handling COVID as there was not a single death which took place due to the heavy ventilators shortages and any hospital bed shortages but opponents have been still politicizing him regardless. QUESTION# 04 Who do you foresee the winner of Presidential elections 2020 and Why? Donald Trump is going to win because he has a huge list of accomplishments. He has accomplished more things in three and a half years versus Joe Biden who has accomplished in 50 years. If you look at it- there is only 3.4 percent un-employment as well as he is going after Antifa, ,Paris act, building a wall, drug mafia, bringing troops back from Afghanistan and he is indeed the first American president in history who is antiwar president who has strengthened the economic foundation of USA. The reason to establish this was first of all Muslims Americans to come together second thing is for the very first time President Trump identified the issue of terrorism and the other vital issues of Muslim communities such as ISIS, Taliban and Al Qaida as these parties have killed more Muslims than anybody else. President Trump e was determined and he is still determined to go against them. He has eliminated ISIS completely which was very violent who created a lot of trouble in the Middle East. Furthermore, his first international trip to Saudi Arabia and you probably have seen how the Middle East peace plan was executed by Mr. Trump. He has also assigned the freedom of religion act so, all of these thing is he has delivered for Muslims. Therefore, I have this organization called “Muslims for I’m also “Co-Chair of ”Muslim Voices for Trump”. I am the first Pakistani Muslim who has spoken at RNC 2016 so it was really very exciting and honorable title for me.. QUESTION# 05 If President Trump wins the election- how do you see the bilateral relationship between Pakistan and USA? The politics is all about public services and it shouldn’t be considered as a business. , If you look at the history- the more drone attacks place in Pakistan during Obama period- also I would like you to recall few things during the first Obama campaign during which he said that they if he wins the elections he is going to bomb Pakistan plus he was tilting towards India- he also said for the very first time that India is our partner. The word partner was actually status partnership that actually took place during the Obama period, another point I want to tell you is that republicans they have differences in terms of their portfolio. They believe in making the army strong and keeping the pentagon strong by fixing the foreign relationships by improving foreign policy. Additionally, what Donald Trump has done for Pakistan let’s start from the general assembly session sitting with Imran Khan inviting him to the White House and discussed the Kashmir issue for more Than a dozen times. All of these things identify that the republican party that Donald Trump is interested in having strong relationship with Pakistan.. He has also promoted efforts to execute Afghan peace plan that has been recognized several times. so, this I what I think if Donald Trump wins- he will develop strong relationship between Pakistan and USA.

QUESTION# 06 How do you manage your work life balance - what is the recipe of keep it all together? It is tough question. I have a strong faith first of all. I am very thankful to God that I am a very blessed person and each time when I do efforts at a certain point- I just leave it to the God to help me and guide me. So, faith is very important in my life. I have four beautiful children. I have three daughters and a son. Who is in the law school. My daughter has done bachelors with bio medical engineering and a Masters in system engineering plus here I would like to mention also that my youngest daughter she is a squash player she was number one in the US under 11 she was part of US team under 13. She has played British open and she has played against Canada and representing the US. Now. She is playing under fifteen and her number is 16 her ranking is 16 in the US. So, these things change my life and this is how I do that. QUESTION# 07 Who is your political inspiration or role model? I am much impressed by Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah - he was a tremendous politician; He is my ideal and I am very much inspired by Mahatma Gandhi at the same time. QUESTION# 08 What is the definition of success to you? I believe there is no shortcut to success you have to earn its if you personally ask as me one single thing that has helped me in my career is character. In my point of view, character matters regardless. ,I think strong character and being humble in my life are the reasons of my success. QUESTION# 09 How do you feel about being on the BGN platform I am so thankful to BGN platform. Dr. Huma I have seen your portfolio; you are such an accomplished person yourself. It is such an honor and am very humble to be on this platform of BGN where you are publishing my interview. I am looking forward to serve the same cause and part of your mission which you have taken for the BGN. I want people to take part in local politics and develop a relationship with your local politicians, volunteer for the campaigns and take practical part in politics. This is the way of integration in to society. Start loving America. America is such a beautiful country and we have to be very thankful what America offers to us. QUESTION# 10 I want people to take part in local politics and develop a relationship with your local politicians, volunteer for the campaigns and take practical part in politics. This is the way of integration in to society. Start loving America. America is such a beautiful country and we have to be very thankful what America offers to us. Any message for the readers especially our youth.

I love the word empower. Mostly, It is only used in context for women but I feel it is also for men. If understood correctly- it means -make (someone) stronger and more confident, especially in controlling

their life and claiming their rights. Every one needs empowerment.

THE STOCK MARKET IS SENDING MIXED SIGNALS ONWHOWILL WIN THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, LPL SAYS

PAGE# 25

The stock market is sending a mixed signal to investors on who will win the presidential election, according to a note from LPL Research. A rising S&P 500 in the three months preceding the election favors Donald Trump to win re-election, while a surge in a basket of stocks including green energy names favors a Joe Biden win. "We think it's going to be a lot closer than the polls may suggest right now, similar to what we saw in 2016," LPL Chief Market Strategist Ryan Detrick said.

The stock market has a knack for correctly predicting who will win the presidential election, but it's sending mixed signals this time around. Since 1984, the stock market correctly predicted the outcome of every presidential election based on the performance in the three months leading up to it. If the market was up in those three months, the incumbent party would win, and if the market was lower in those three months, the incumbent party would lose. Since 1928, this methodology has correctly predicted which party would win the presidential election 87% of the time. With Election Day less than one month away and early voting taking place in many states across the country, it remains an unknown whether President Trump or Joe Biden will win the election. But with the S&P 500 up nearly 7% since August 3, the stock market is predicting that Trump will win re-election, LPL Research said in a note on Wednesday.

thousands to see which stocks are on Jim Osman's buy list. He details 2 he sees doubling, and one that has at least 50% left to soar. On the flipside, a basket of stocks known as the "Biden portfolio" has significantly outperformed its corresponding "Trump portfolio" year-to-date, suggesting that Biden will win the election, LPL highlighted. The Trump and Biden portfolios were compiled by Strategas Research and are made up of stocks that investors view as likely to benefit from a Trump or Biden presidency, respectively.

outperformed thanks to a surge in green energy stocks, which would likely benefit from Biden's renewable energy policy proposals. So which election-predicting market indicator is right? Investors will know for sure after the election, but LPL Chief Market Strategist Ryan Detrick views the conflicting messages as a sign that the election will likely be a closer call than the polls are letting on.

Donald Trump is cratering among women in the suburbs, losing support among senior citizens and facing a wave of Democratic early voting. With 20 days left until November 3, Trump faces as daunting a challenge to reelection as any incumbent president in a quarter-century. Joe Biden is predicted to win in most election forecasts. He also holds a robust lead in the national polls — 10 percentage points, according to the RealClearPolitics polling average. And in the 8 states POLITICO has identified as critical battlegrounds — Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin — Biden has a lead in all but one of them. The selection of these swing states is based on a variety of factors — polling, demography, past and recent election history, voter registration, interviews with state and local party officials, strategists and pollsters. The individual campaigns have also revealed the places they are prioritizing through staffing, resource allocation, TV and radio advertising and candidate visits. When POLITICO first chronicled these swing states after Labor Day, the roadmap ahead for Trump and Biden was clear. The president needed to max

out his performance with rural voters, halt his erosion in the suburbs, and turn out white working-class voters who didn’t vote in 2016. Biden needed a big turnout African-American voters — increase his share among Latino voters and recapture some of the places that flipped to Trump after twice voting for President Barack Obama. in the big cities -- particularly among While it’s too early to tell how successful each has been at meeting those goals, one thing seems clear from our most recent reporting — Trump has failed to turn his fortunes around in the suburbs, particularly among women. “Honestly, all the moms I know, we are really nervous about our kids, what kind of future they’re going to have. And Trump is the one making us nervous,” a woman in suburban Livingston County told Tim Alberta. Swing state Republicans aren’t entirely convinced that Trump’s situation is dire. While acknowledging the obstacles to his reelection, they are quick to point out a salient fact: Trump also trailed in polls in many battleground states at this point in 2016 only to win them narrowly on Election Day. They report high enthusiasm within the GOP base and deep support for the president in rural America — support that isn’t being captured in

the polls, they say. In Wisconsin, Republican Party Chair Andrew Hitt told Natasha Korecki, the rural counties that powered Trump’s 2016 win are “glowing bright red. We really have no concerns that the rural vote is going to turn out for the president.”

Here’s a closer look at the eight swing states that will decide the 2020 election:

Arizona In Arizona, Donald Trump’s handling of the pandemic is proving costly, leaving him struggling to match his 2016 performance among those over the age of 65. October polling shows Biden is chipping away at Trump’s support among older white voters, especially among the once reliably Republican senior population in populous Maricopa County. — Laura Barrón-López ELECTORAL VOTES: 11 RECENT POLL: D+2 2016 VOTE: R+4 Florida Republicans typically hold a slight edge in absentee ballot returns in Florida elections. But this year, for the first time ever at this stage of a general election, Democrats here are outvoting Republicans -- and by a huge margin. The unprecedented early voting numbers have electrified Democrats, but campaign veterans warn that a wave of Republican votes is coming on Election Day. — Marc Caputo ELECTORAL VOTES: 29 RECENT POLL: D+3 2016 VOTE: R+1 Georgia Most of the attention in Georgia this year is directed toward Atlanta’s populous suburbs, which have turned hard against Republicans in the Trump era, But the outcome might come down to a less scrutinized force in this state: white rural voters. And Donald Trump has room to grow his support there. — Elena Schneider ELECTORAL VOTES: 16 RECENT POLL: R
