Andra Keay is Managing Director and Founder of Silicon Valley Robotics, the leading non-profit robotics cluster. The process of commercializing innovation is at the heart of Silicon Valley Robotics and lessons learnt here can be applied globally. Andra is an expert in aligning the multidisciplinary stakeholders required in a high tech innovation cluster and speaks regularly on the growing business of AI, robotics, and the ethical issues that emerge, shared on “The Robot State” site. Silicon Valley Robotics is the leading non-profit robotics cluster, with more than 75% of the world’s robotics startups and investments. The process of commercializing innovation is at the heart of Silicon Valley Robotics. We take the best ecosystem practices from Silicon Valley's history of innovation (transistors, computers, mobile, internet) and apply it to the emerging industries of robotics and AI. The lessons learnt here can be applied globally and SVR partners with many global organizations to develop ecosystems, to teach innovation practices, to provide a landing pad for visiting companies and to make connections with robotics and AI startups and investors.

Michael Harries is a partner with ‘The Robotics Hub’, an early stage robotics and AI fund. His practice focuses on finding the bridge from emerging technology through market need to a viable business model. He also consults on innovation best practices and emerging technology/market trends. Michael was a founder of Citrix Startup Accelerator, which established new practices for corporate open innovation, where he identified, funded and

coached emerging technology / new market startups in Silicon Valley and globally. He co-led with Citrix Startup Accelerator for five years working with over 30 startups spanning cloud computing, mobile work, and AI. After this he joined Kyndi (natural language understanding) as CTO. He has been a leader in corporate applied- research and strategy (Citrix Labs and CTO Office), run and been part of AI startups in medicine and finance. Michael also holds a PhD in AI and a B.Ec.
