The Ultimate Glass Protection Supplied as standard.

Crosswater Clear is a colourless surface treatment applied to all shower and bath panels. The coating is perfectly flat and invisible and works by creating a surface that helps prevent limescale, soap/shampoo build-up, easier to clean and sparkling glass every day.

Untreated Glass Untreated glass can quickly and easily su’er permanent bonding of limescale and mineral salts onto its surface, which can cause staining and damage, with water spots being di’icult, if not impossible, to remove despite regular cleaning.

Crosswater Clear Treated Glass Helping to prevent build up and making the glass easier to clean, Crosswater Clear allows soils and liquids to ‘slide o’’ the treated surface which prevents limescale and other dirt from building up to make cleaning a quicker and easier process.

Choosing the Right Shower Enclosure

Choosing the right type of showering enclosure can create a luxurious private space where you will feel protected, comfortable and relaxed in which to enjoy your perfect shower, always. Crosswater’s exciting range of enclosure types can be configured in numerous di’erent ways to suit every bathroom.

Sliding Doors Great for any size bathroom and a great space saver since the door does not swing out into the room. Sliding doors have two glass panels of which one slides on to open and close. Easily fitted into an alcove or add side panels to create a corner solution. Hinged Doors These doors o’er the widest entry width, swinging out to open, on some models hinged inwards too. They can easily be fitted to a wall profile or an inline panel depending on the space available. However, the bathroom has to be large enough. Without enough space, you won’t be able to open the door fully. Pivot Doors Pivot doors have an o’set hinge mechanism which allows less of the door to fold into the room. These doors are great for maximising door opening widths and reducing space required outside the enclosure. Quadrant Quadrant doors are always used in a corner. Sliding door versions are great for maximising space, a single door sliding quad version o’ers wider door opening; the hinged door option provides even wider door openings for more spacious bathrooms.

Infold Doors Infold doors feature an ingenious, smooth cantilever moving action, half of the door folds into the enclosure and half into the room, saving space. Great in smaller spaces this door type allows a greater opening space to access the enclosure. Bi-fold Doors Bi-fold doors operate in the way that their name implies. Two glass panels fold in on themselves, thanks to central hinges and smooth-running rollers. Because they don’t swing out into the bathroom, they are excellent in smaller spaces with or without a side panel. Pentagon Pentagon doors are also used when the shower is located in the corner. They provide good in shower standing space with the advantage of using less space in the room than a quadrant option.

Corner Entry Great for smaller bathrooms since the doors don’t open outward, corner entry enclosures have two doors sliding on rollers to create an easy access opening.

Choosing the Right Walk In Configuration Walk-in shower arrangements are the ultimate in showering flexibility and allow you to enter the space more easily whether fitted to a tiled floor or shower tray. Walk-in showers provide stylish and practical showering solutions for all ages and when fitted with a level floor or tray are ideal for users with restricted mobility. This type of showering solution typically includes one, two or three glass panels. Optional hinged deflector panels will provide even more practicality.  Designing Your Walk In

Identify your space When designing your perfect walk in shower space, the first steps are to define who will be using the shower and the space you have or can create. Having decided those important factors, you can identify your wall configuration and measure your space. It is important to take the measurements aœer the tray is installed and the walls are tiled. Typically there are three wall configurations as below:

Recess Recess wall configurations are three sided, a back wall and two side walls, and the glass panel installs within this space. Options for this wall type appear on page 18 numbered 1–6.

Corner Corner wall configurations are two sided with the glass panel creating the other sides. Options for this wall type appear on page 18 numbered 7–12.

Straight Open Wall Straight open wall configurations allow the creation of two sided or single walk through type configurations. Options for this wall type appear on page 18 numbered 13–18.

The door adjustments detailed are minimum and maximum adjustments of the actual enclosure excluding the tray where used. Please ensure the door adjustments are compatible with the space available including all wall tiles before ordering. Although shower door and enclosure sizes are related to tray sizes it is important to note that most shower trays are tiled down onto the rim, and sometimes over a tray up-stand. The finished installation space may be less than the nominal tray size. Note shower trays will have some tolerance too. 16

Consider Your Stabilising Fixings To enable you to create your personalised showering space we have a range of stabilising fixings available. In all cases you should ensure a secure fixing. We do not recommend fixing to plasterboard alone, please consult your local installer for guidance.

Glass to Wall Bracing Bar 1200mm long. Can support panels up to 1400mm.
