The hallmark of Fisher Weisman, as described in the New York Times Sunday Magazine, is “ drop dead, big city chic .” Andrew Fisher and Jeffry Weisman blend unbridled imagination and a unique artistic sensibility with a highly restrained design approach and attention to detail. The interiors and furnishings they conceive are individual, enduring, and memorable.

After buying and renovating an 18th century home in San Miguel, Fisher and Weisman were inspired to create a line of handcrafted furniture, lighting and accessories working with the extraordinary artisans they discovered in the process. Originally named Casa Acanto after their home in San Miguel, the Fisher Weisman Collection is offered in fine showrooms across the United States and Mexico.

The Showroom SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE

Encompassing the front three rooms of a 16th century colonial house in the historic center of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, the newly opened Fisher Weisman Collection showroom features an extensive display of lighting, furniture and accessories alongside the fine art and jewelry of Andrew Fisher.

The opening celebration was filled with live music and local culinary flavors. Guests explored the new showroom and courtyard, filled with the Collection’s most renowned designs and selections from the latest introductions.

The Collection

The hand of the extraordinary artisans of San Miguel is evident in every Fisher Weisman piece. Frames meticulously gilded by hand are ornamented with drops of hand painted papier mâché.

The ceilings above are filled with glints of gold and semi-precious stones. Every design is a reflection of the artistry and attention to detail for which the Fisher Weisman Collection is known.
