Fogging with a surgical mask
When we wear a surgical mask or work in hot-steamy environments, glasses with standard lenses can easily fog up. The fogging effect on lenses can obscure a worker’s vision and lead to potentially dangerous situations.

Key Features Lens material and its properties
The Vanguard RX is a polycarbonate lens, a polymer that guarantees a unique combination of resistance toughness and lightness.
Lightness Due to the polycarbonate properties, Vanguard RX is significantly thinner than regular lenses and guarantees less error from parallax and a wider visual field.
Resistance Vanguard RX is scratch and impact resistant — mechanical strength F — and high level of protection: up to 30 times more impact resistant than regular CR39 lenses and 60 times more than mineral glass lenses.
Available Lenses
Vanguard RX is available as a monofocal lens and progressive lens.
Combinable lenses with every UNIVET safety prescription glasses.
The anti-fog coating is significant for safety glasses because: What you need to know about...

How to clean and protect your glasses Cleaning & Care
Dirty lenses can cause eyestrain due to forced focusing. Lens cleaning is a fundamental operation for vision and glasses maintenance, for this reason you should carry it out daily. A wrong cleaning procedure, improper or with incorrect tools, can cause scratches and lens coating damages. See below the instructions for proper cleaning and care:
