Key Features Lens material and its properties
The Vanguard RX is a polycarbonate lens, a polymer that guarantees a unique combination of resistance toughness and lightness.
Lightness Due to the polycarbonate properties, Vanguard RX is significantly thinner than regular lenses and guarantees less error from parallax and a wider visual field.
Resistance Vanguard RX is scratch and impact resistant — mechanical strength F — and high level of protection: up to 30 times more impact resistant than regular CR39 lenses and 60 times more than mineral glass lenses.
Available Lenses
Vanguard RX is available as a monofocal lens and progressive lens.
Combinable lenses with every UNIVET safety prescription glasses.
The anti-fog coating is significant for safety glasses because: What you need to know about...

How to clean and protect your glasses Cleaning & Care
Dirty lenses can cause eyestrain due to forced focusing. Lens cleaning is a fundamental operation for vision and glasses maintenance, for this reason you should carry it out daily. A wrong cleaning procedure, improper or with incorrect tools, can cause scratches and lens coating damages. See below the instructions for proper cleaning and care:
Yes
No
Never use warm water to avoid lens coating damage
Rinse under running water* and dry the lenses with a microfiber cloth before every usage
Do not use solvents, detergents or cleaning products containing alcohol**
After removing dust and coarse particles, clean the lenses with the UNIVET spray or wipes** (alternately, double rinse under water*)
Carefully dry the lenses with the UNIVET microfiber cloth (included in the packaging)
Do not use clothing or fingers to clean the glasses
Always store the glasses in their UNIVET protective case
Place your glasses down on a surface with the lenses facing up
