Let Sinclair take the guesswork out of designing training programs for your workforce. We’ve combined our most in-demand courses to provide a deeper learning experience for individual employees, leaders, or teams. Multi-Course PROGRAMS

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in the Workplace

For many organizations, the work of building a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace can be challenging. It takes courage and commitment, and a willingness to engage in meaningful conversations with others who may have very different beliefs, perceptions, and experiences. We invite you to join the conversation and learn ways to cultivate diversity, equity, and inclusion in your workplace.

COURSES IN THIS SERIES

Rewriting the Script on Diversity and Inclusion Increasing self-awareness is the first step in developing a baseline of knowledge about diversity and inclusion. Participants will engage in the process of self-discovery and learn how to step outside of their “bubble of sameness”. Unpacking Unconscious Bias Unconscious bias is a quick and often inaccurate judgment of others based on limited facts and personal experiences. In the workplace, these biases can adversely impact recruiting, selection, promotion, and retention. Left unchecked, these biases can erode the organizational culture. Discover ways to identify harmful biases and create a welcoming and inclusive workplace.

The Link Between EQ, Diversity and Inclusion Emotional intelligence (EQ) is at the heart of cultivating a diverse and inclusive organization. Participants will discover how EQ skills such as self- awareness, empathy, adaptability, and mindfulness can build a workplace culture of diversity and inclusion. Building a Culture of Equity and Inclusion Inclusive leaders understand that cultural equity and inclusion are strategic priorities in today’s workplace. Learn and practice the skills of inclusive leadership and commit to actions that compel organizations to create a work environment that is safe and comfortable for all employees.

Foundational Leadership Based upon more than a decade of work in leadership learning and development, we’ve found that with the right combination of innovative skill-building tools and customized learning solutions, effective leaders can be “made” especially with Sinclair guiding them along the way. The Foundational Leadership Series is designed to build essential skills for new or growing leaders. Each session has been developed to provide learners with a fundamental understanding of the techniques and concepts related to that particular subject area through lively discussion, relevant case studies and hands-on experiential activities designed to enhance learning.

COURSES IN THIS SERIES

Leadership Quickstart Team leader, supervisor, manager- all of these titles require leadership skills. New, emerging, and seasoned leaders will learn about SMART goals, the building blocks of leadership, and the importance of building trust. Participants will also complete a self- assessment to determine their personal leadership style. Communication That Connects Nearly every core business function centers on the ability of leaders and their teams to communicate effectively. Individuals who develop their communication skills are better equipped to share important information, convey ideas, and motivate others to work together to achieve organizational results. Discover the barriers to effective communication, the importance of active listening, and techniques to positively connect with people with different communication styles. Managing Conflict with Confidence Conflict management is a process that allows people to explore and understand our differences and use them to interact in a more positive, productive way. Participants will complete the TKI (Thomas-Kilman Instrument) assessment to reveal their primary approach to handling conflict and learn techniques to "adapt" their style to resolve conflict more effectively.

Building a Culture of Accountability Building a Culture of Accountability provides a judgment-free learning environment for strengthening personal accountability in ourselves and others. Without clear directions and expectations, it is difficult for both leaders and employees to manage accountability effectively. Learn strategies to build an environment where personal accountability is not only expected, but valued. Coaching to Build Employee Engagement Coaching others is one of the most critical, yet underdeveloped skills among leaders. Learn the value of coaching, the difference between managing and coaching, and specific techniques that can lead to improved performance and stronger employee engagement.

Next Level Leadership Successful organizations recognize that basic leadership training is not enough to prepare managers for the growing demand for higher- skilled leaders. The Next Level Leadership Series is designed for seasoned leaders who are ready to accelerate their leadership skills.

COURSES IN THIS SERIES

Accelerating Leadership Effectiveness Leaders have a significant impact on organizational culture, employee engagement, and achieving results. Accelerating Leadership Effectiveness is built around the Life Styles Inventory (LSI), a widely-respected leadership assessment tool used for measuring and quantifying individual thinking patterns, strengths, and challenges. The LSI provides a common language to define individual leadership styles in an objective, non-judgmental way. Participants will receive a custom LSI Self-Assessment Report detailing their results. Leading with Emotional Intelligence Having a clear understanding of our thoughts, values and motives is a critical first-step to becoming an emotionally intelligent leader. Using the Goleman Model of Emotional Intelligence, participants will explore the four EQ domains, complete a quick EQ Self-Assessment and craft an action plan for developing their EQ skills towards becoming a more effective leader. Navigating the Waters of Change Leading others through change requires strong communication skills and a clear vision of the future. To reduce resistance and increase receptiveness, leaders need to understand the human side of change. Learn ways to guide others through the change process and create a culture of “change readiness” within the team.

Problem Solving for Effective Decision Making Identifying problems. Evaluating options. Making tough decisions. Many leaders are expected to solve problems and make important decisions. However, they may not have had the opportunity to develop the necessary skills to do them well. Participants will learn how to identify the root cause of a problem, practice the IDEAL method of problem solving, and discover their personal approach to making effective decisions. Strong Teams Start with Trust Trust is the foundation for building healthy, high- performing teams. Participants will increase their understanding of the critical importance of trust in building and sustaining workplace relationships to promote teamwork, collaboration, and achievement of goals.

Hybrid Teams: Leadership Skills for a New Workplace Model It's becoming increasingly clear the hybrid workplace, where some employees are co-located in an office and others are doing their jobs remotely, is here to stay. However, it’s much more than simply letting some employees work remotely. Managers will learn tools to communicate effectively, clarify expectations, and connect with their hybrid team to increase engagement and productivity in a hybrid work environment. However, hiring managers may not be well-versed in the do’s and don’ts of this process. In this session, become familiar with the basics of HR laws, policies, and practices designed to protect job- seeker rights, minimize risk to the organization, and hire the most qualified candidate for the job. Leadership Quickstart Team leader, supervisor, manager- all of these titles require leadership skills. This course is designed to take the fear out of feedback and equip leaders with the skills to have those difficult conversations. Along the way, participants will discover how feedback can be one of the best "gifts" they can give employees to spark growth.
