We provide ideas, tools, connections and—most importantly—real-world practice, so our students graduate ready to begin their professional journeys with confidence! Smiley Professional Events is our ongoing schedule of speakers, workshops and special activities outside of classes. Students earn academic credit by choosing events that fit their schedules and interests such as etiquette dinners, networking banquets and local company tours. With over 300 Smiley Professional Events each year , there’s always something exciting happening! Our Mundt Career-Readiness Program is a collection of special experiences for all students within our classes. Highlights include: • hearing about exciting career paths for all first-year students • chatting with employers over coffee for all second-year students • learning how to make a great in-person impression for all third-year students • connecting with local leaders at Senior Banquets for all fourth-year students.

Our Mundt Internship Program gives students professional work experience before they graduate. This allows students to apply what they have learned in the classroom, while also providing real world context for their academic work. Every year, students complete over 140 internships ! Students complete internships in for-profit and non-profit organizations, in Fortune-500 and small family companies, in Central Wisconsin and across the United States. Students can find their own internships or can use our networking events and contacts to find the right internship for their interests and career goals.
