WILDCAT SPORTS CAMP A NORTH SHORE TRADITION FOR OVER 75 YEARS!
SUMMER 2022
Camp Tuition Each session is $1,000 per camper, with each session capped at 100. • Payment is required upon registration. • Northwestern faculty and staff receive a $100 per session discount. 2022 Camp Sessions Session I: June 20 – July 1, 2022 Session II: July 5 – 15, 2022 (no camp July 4) Session III: July 18 – 29, 2022 The camp day begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m. daily. Wildcat Sports Camp has been a Chicagoland tradition since 1939 and continues its success as one of the best quality multi-sport day camps on the North Shore. Enrollment Periods Returning Campers: January 17 – 24, 2022 New Campers: Begins January 24, 2022 Registration is held online. Instructions for enrollment are included on our website. Call 847-491-7314 , Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., or email [email protected] with questions or for more information. Note: Prorating is not available for campers who do not wish to attend a full session or who do not use the transportation included in the tuition fee.
What You Need to Know...
Eligibility Girls and boys currently enrolled in 1 st – 6 th grade (current 6 th graders must be returning campers) Camp Activities Camp activities are held both inside and outside, weather permitting, throughout the day. Activities include: • Basketball • Sailing Center • Baseball • Soccer • Beach Activities
• Sport Club (team games and activities)
• Flag Football • Floor Hockey • Pool Activities
• Tennis
• Volleyball
• And much more!
Sports Equipment All campers must have a swimsuit and towel daily for swimming and beach activities. A baseball glove is also recommended if the camper chooses to participate in baseball. Equipment is provided for all other activities. However, campers may bring equipment for other sports if they choose. Such items may include: goggles, a tennis racquet, baseball bat, etc.
Lunch Campers must bring their own sack lunch. A fruit juice beverage will be provided. Refrigeration is not available for camp lunches. Insulated bags and cold packs are recommended. Water and Gatorade will be provided throughout the day. Transportation Transportation will not be provided for the 2022 camp year. Drop-off time begins at 8:30 a.m., and pick-up time is from 3 - 4 p.m. Specific information for dropping off and picking up your camper will be provided.
Wildcat Sports Camp is administered through the Northwestern University Department of Athletics and Recreation and operates out of the Henry Crown Sports Pavilion, 2311 Campus Drive, on the Evanston campus. Campers will also have the opportunity to utilize the following Northwestern Athletic and Recreation facilities:
• Combe Tennis Center • Norris Aquatic Center • Northwestern Beach
