Five Disfunctions of a Team

by Patrick Lencioni

This is a leadership fable about a technology company which is struggling to grow its customers. The leadership/executives of the company are not working as a team and struggles to come to any agreements which results in negative morale. The newly appointed CEO, Catherine Petersen, recognizes the potential of the team and brings in the teamwork among them by making them understand the dysfunctions.

Emerging Leader Profile™ administered by Impact Associates

The Emerging Leader Profile (ELP) is a 360-degree survey that allows you to gather feedback about your strengths and developmental needs as a leader from those who work closely with you. In addition to yourself and your direct manager, you'll select "raters" from your peers and direct reports (or internal clients) to anonymously provide you feedback on 12 leadership skills and traits that influence your effectiveness. Your feedback is confidential .

CliftonStrengths®

administered by Clayton Homes Facilitator

CliftonStrengths measures your natural patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving to determine your strengths.. If you've already taken the CliftonStrengths assessment at Clayton, you will not need to take it again.

As part of your Ignite Gateway experience, you'll receive 360-degree feedback through the Emerging Leader Profile™.

What is 360-degree feedback? 360-degree feedback allows you to gather feedback about your strengths and development needs from the perspective of those who work closely with you. Typically, ratings are provided by you, your manager, peers, and direct reports (or internal clients). Getting 360 feedback can help show you how your self-perception differs from the perceptions of others. These "blind spots" can provide information about behaviors that are negatively impacting the people you work with and help you develop a targeted development plan for behavior change. I've never gotten 360 feedback. What can I expect?! If this is your first time getting this type of feedback, it may feel awkward and uncomfortable. You're in good company! This is completely normal. Remember that feedback only represents others' perspectives of you. The more you approach feedback with objectivity, the easier it is to understand the story being told. Who will provide me with feedback? You will select "raters" to provide you with valuable feedback. To get the most of the ELP, we encourage you to be very thoughtful about who you select as your raters. Choose individuals who work closely with you and can provide you with honest and helpful feedback. For the ELP, you will select: your manager, 4-6 peers (someone you work with often who holds a position at a similar level to you, but you have no authority over the person), and 4-6 direct reports (someone you supervise directly or influence to get work done). If you don't have direct reports, you can select 4-6 internal clients (people who you interact with and assist to get work done). Aside from your manager's feedback, all feedback will be anonymous.

Who will be putting on the workhop series?
