FIRE SAFETY The UK law requires all businesses to have a fire risk assessment, with best practice being to review this annually. Our health & fire safety consultants will produce bespoke fire risk assessments, and as required, ensure that your staff are trained and aware of your evacuation procedures.

GENERAL RISK ASSESSMENT Our fully trained risk assessors are here to go through a sample of your current risk assessment documentation, making sure it's completed and up to date as required. SPECIFIC RISK ASSESSMENT Our assessors will also identify whether your business requires any specific risk assessments including COSHH, manual handling, noise and air quality monitoring. HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY All businesses with five or more employees must have a written health & safety policy in place. Our health & safety consultants work with you to identify, develop and review your health & safety policy, ensuring you always remain on the right side of the law.

SPECIAL INDEMNITY SCHEME A growing number of businesses are being prosecuted by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) for material breaches in legislation. The level of risk created and potential danger caused by these breaches determines the amount of fines payable. Prosecution can result and custodial sentences are being handed down in the most serious of cases. Not only is the advice we give first class, it can also be fully supported by comprehensive indemnity. This provides you with up to £100,000 legal defence costs per case (up to £1,000,000 in any one year) should you fall foul of the law.*

VIBRATION ASSESSMENTS You need to ensure the health & safety of employees who are exposed to hand arm vibration is controlled. Our consultants will provide you with a full report documenting the vibration exposure for each employee, together with the actuation values for each tool that they use. You will receive a detailed action plan based upon the findings, showing which of your employees require health surveillance and which employees are at particular risk from excessive vibration. BREATHABLE AIR QUALITY MONITORING Our experts will check your air ventilation systems to ensure that your employees are not inhaling any harmful substances when they're working. We will also check breathing apparatus and equipment to make sure that they are working properly, without any leaks.

PROSECUTION SUPPORT Our health & safety consultants are here to assist you if you need legal support for a HSE investigation. From accident investigation, expert witness testimony and interviews under caution through to improvement notices and prosecutions, we're here to help. AIRMONITORING We will work with you to create an air monitoring programme for your business. We ensure that you are always kept up to datewhen it comes to your team's exposure to airborne hazards, and that youmeet all your legal obligations under COSHH. FIXED POINT NOISE MONITORING If your team is exposed to noise at work then it is your responsibility to complete a noise assessment. Our fixed point (static) noise assessments measure noise at fixed points throughout your workplace. You will then be provided with a report detailing the results. PERSONAL DOSEMETER READINGS If the fixed point noise assessment reveals that certain areas are outside the noise level threshold then employees working in that area will need to undergo a personal dosemeter reading that will calculate the employee's daily exposure. Personal dosemeter readings can also be used to support your health surveillance.
