Paultons Park (Peppa Pig World)

2 Days from £107pp

Peppa and George

Located in the New Forest National Park, Paultons Park packs in more than 70 fantastic rides and attractions, but the highlight here has got to be the fabulous Peppa Pig World! Home to everyone’s favourite cartoon pig, littluns will love seeing the colourful characters and zooming around on familiar rides like George’s Dinosaur, Daddy Pig’s Car, Grandpa’s Train and Miss Rabbit’s Helicopter. Snap some pics as the kids meet their favourite characters, sing along to catchy songs from the show and frolic in the themed indoor and outdoor play areas. With nine exciting rides and plenty of fun extras to enjoy, there’s bound to be smiles all day from your Peppa fans! P E P PA P I G WO R L D

Novotel Southampton,

Enter the fabulous and colourful Peppa Pig World and be immediately immersed in familiar sights and sounds from the ever-popular kids’ cartoon – her yellow house on a hill, the greedy ducks in the pond and, of course, muddy puddles in the “splish, splash, splosh, splish, splash” zone! The fantastic collection of child-friendly rides is also themed around recognisable elements of the show. Take to the skies on Miss Rabbit’s Helicopter Flight, hop aboard Grandpa Pig’s Little Train for a singalong trundle, or jump on Mr Dinosaur’s back for a ride on George’s Dinosaur Adventure – or “dine-saw” as he says! The nine exciting rides also include Peppa’s Big Balloon Ride complete with brilliant views over the park, Grandpa Pig’s Boat Trip and Grampy Rabbit’s Sailing Club, a gentle spinning boat ride with appearances from Peppa and her pals along the way. Little ones will love jumping behind the wheel on Daddy Pig’s Car Ride or taking a ride up into the clouds aboard the fun Windy Castle Ride. You can even tour the park like royalty on The Queen’s Flying Coach Ride, a gentle monorail which sets off from the majestic Queen’s Castle and winds its way around above the park. The cars, carriages, boats, helicopters, balloons and trains(!) are all designed for multiple family members and, of the nine rides, just one has a height restriction – kids must be 0.85m to enjoy George’s Dinosaur Adventure – so there’s plenty of action here for the whole gang! In addition to the rides, kids can climb, slide and play in Mr Potato’s Playground and George’s Spaceship Indoor Playzone and take a peek inside Peppa’s house. Of course, a visit to Peppa Pig World wouldn’t be complete without meeting its most famous residents! Get your cameras ready as the cartoon’s most popular characters appear every day for photo opportunities at the schoolhouse. When it’s time for a pitstop, grab some food at Daddy Pig’s Cafe or The Queen’s Kitchen before continuing the shenanigans! Key Experiences • Fun rides based on the cartoon • Meet Peppa, George & friends • Indoor & outdoor play areas • No height restrictions on 8/9 rides

There are more children’s favourites dotted around the park, too, including Elmer the patchwork elephant’s Flying Jumbos carousel and the magical Room on the Broom walk-through journey. T H O R P E PA R K R E S O R T

Crowne Plaza London - Heathrow, London Heathrow Plus

Let’s begin with the impressive rollercoaster line-up, because Thorpe Park really knows how to deliver a thrill! Speed demons should head straight for the UK’s fastest rollercoaster, Stealth, which goes from 0-80 mph in under two seconds! It doesn’t quite reach the same eye-watering pace, but with speeds of almost 60 mph, The Swarm is another one sure to blow the cobwebs away – plus, it’s the UK’s first and only winged coaster so it’s not to be missed. Colossus delivers another piece of history, being the world’s first 10-looper and featuring the UK’s only quadruple barrel roll, while the park’s only inverted rollercoaster, Nemesis Inferno, comes with a fiery volcano theme. Horror fans will be in their element on SAW – The Ride, which is based on the equally terrifying horror movie franchise and serves up a beyond vertical drop of 100 degrees from a whopping height of 100 ft… yikes! Indoor rollercoaster, The Walking Dead: The Ride, also packs a frightening punch, while, new for 2021, the UK’s first Black Mirror experience – Black Mirror Labyrinth – throws you into a twisted, sensory- defying maze... and it wants to keep you there! What about the younger – although no less daring – members of your family? Well, all those above 90cm are spoilt for choice, too! Young thrill seekers can get their first taste of a rollercoaster on the fun, fast Flying Fish, or tackle the out-of-control Rocky Express train ride as it dips and dives. Take a 180 degree swing on Mr Monkey’s Banana Ride, navigate twists and turns on the Timber Tug Boat or spring high into the sky on Lumber Jump! For more family shenanigans, head to Depth Charge for a race down the four-lane super slide. And if it’s a splash you’re after, you’re in for a super soaking on Tidal Wave, as it plunges you 85 ft into the water below, while Rumba Rapids takes you on an exciting adventure down the rapid river – hold on tight! It’s hungry work tackling all those thrills, so why not refuel along the way? You’ll find all sorts of tasty dishes here, like kebabs, pizzas, burgers, hotdogs, street food, pasta, jacket potatoes, ice cream, waffles, donuts and more… delicious! Key Experiences • Over 30 thrilling rides • UK’s fastest rollercoaster • Child-friendly rides & attractions
