FLORIDA FLY-IN DETAILS APRIL 18-21, 2022

Health and Safety Unless something changes, it is not expected that any COVID testing will need to be done for this trip unless you are exhibiting symptoms in the five days prior to trip departure. It is expected that masks will need to be worn during all flights and while in airports. Mask are not required on the NY campus. Luggage Limits We strongly urge everyone to bring as little as possible. Here’s the max that can be accommodated: · One personal item to carry on the plane. It must be able to fit under the seat in front of you. · One piece of carry-on luggage that fits in the overhead compartment in the plane. Maximum size of 10x16x24 inches. · One piece of checked luggage with a maximum weight of 50 lbs (23 kg). For full details on size limits, scan the QR code below.

Checkout Process · Everyone must return to campus by midnight on Sunday, April 17 (Easter Sunday). · As much luggage as possible will be loaded at 8pm Sunday evening in the TAC parking lot.

· Departure for the airport will be at 6:00am Monday morning! This is when we need to leave NOT when we start gathering. So, if you need to load any luggage, you’ll need to bring that by 5:30am. An “on-the-go” breakfast will be provided. This will need to be eaten prior to going through security at the airport. · Going up you will be flying from Tampa Int’l Airport to Albany, NY. Departure from Tampa is at 9:20am on Monday, April 18 on a direct Southwest flight arriving in Albany at 12:10pm. Vans will be waiting to bring us to the NY campus which is 1hr 15min away. A bag lunch will be provided on the way. · Coming back, you’ll be flying from Albany, NY to Tampa. Departure from Albany is at 3:05pm on Thursday, April 21 on a direct Southwest flight arriving in Tampa at 6:10pm. Vans will be waiting to bring you back to campus. We’ll be sure you get something to eat.

Packing List · Critical: photo ID (driver’s license or passport). International students need to have their student visa and I-20. See here for other accepted forms of ID. · Class dress. · Casual clothes for athletic activities. · Sleeping bag or blanket and pillow (sheets are provided). · Laptop for attending class. · Bible, pen, and notebook. · Warm jacket. Daytime temps will be in the 50s and 60s. There may be some rain. · Toiletries, cloth, and towel.
