The Architect

Joe Adsett Architects is an award-winning architectural practice specialising in luxury residential architecture. Design Features

Landscaped Planting

Glazed Facade

Timber-look Cladding

Board-Form Concrete

Award-winning landscape architects, Form, are responsible for the landscaped planting which wraps and cascades along the curved projections, with a palette providing visual appeal and privacy to each residence. The ground floor is significantly planted, with a deep planter acting as an awning structure of the entire lobby, providing protection from the natural elements.

To illuminate with natural daylight was the motivation behind the introduction of a glazed facade. Glazing has also been used as an effective means of solar control while providing privacy.

This classic eco-friendly material is not only beautiful but functional, blending in seamlessly to Maison’s natural exterior palette.

Three prominent frontages of Maison are activated with a series of horizontal projections composed of board-form concrete. These are a key design element, acting as floating disks wrapping the entire visible façade from the corner of Moray and Barker streets.

An iconic building on Brisbane’s beautiful skyline, Maison’s curved floating disks are swathed in a cascade of glorious planting, creating a fusion of architecture and lush subtropical landscape. Intelligent architecture, featuring a facade of wide frontages and glazing, maximises natural light and cross-ventilation. A ground floor deep planter acts as an awning structure over the entire lobby, providing protection from natural elements for both residents and guests.

Each luxury four-bedroom home has been created for entertaining with open-plan living, deep outdoor balconies and terraces and direct lift access.

Premium features include European Oak timber flooring, enclosed gas fireplaces, Vintec wine fridges, Miele appliances and 2-pac cabinetry.

Future-proofing in the form of antimicrobial treated air-conditioning heads and custom HEPA air filters enhances the safety and wellbeing of residents in the event of a viral outbreak.
