All LawnMaster Alloy Mowers are made with Primary Grade Alloy which is an extremely strong and durable compound that is lightweight. Primary Grade Alloy extends the life of the mower and reduces the likelihood of damage to the chassis through cracking, breaking, or rusting. Zone Start is an easy pull start system available on most LawnMaster mowers. For the Zone Start, the starting cord is on the handle. Simply push the mower forward whilst pulling the cord to start the mower, the simultaneous movement will start the engine without having to bend over and (or) injuring your back in the process. ZONE START FEATURES & BENEFITS

BRIGGS & STRATTON INSTART

Some LawnMaster mowers with Briggs & Stratton engines may include the instart feature. Instart is the world’s first lawn mower engine to combine the power of petrol and the starting reliability of lithium-ion battery technology. Simply push the button or turn the key to start the mower. InStart® - No Priming - No Choking - No Pulling. Instant & easy starting.

Easy pull start system is available on all LawnMaster Mowers. Simply pull the cord to start engine. EASY PULL START

Some LawnMaster Mowers have a Self Propelled (SP) function that make mowing lawns easy. The self propelled function is a handy feature if you have a large lawn with sloping sections, or if you want lawn mowing to be less strenuous. Simply hold down the handle and let the mower do all the work without breaking a sweat! SELF PROPELLED (SP)

FOUR SWING BACK BLADES

LawnMaster Steel and Alloy Mowers have Four Swing Back Blades. If the blades hit something hard, the engineered design protects the engine from extensive damage.

A common type of blade is the Single Bar Blade. LawnMaster Lithium and the new 16” petrol mower have a single bar blade. This type of blade will usually cut longer grass easier if blades are maintained to provide a great finish.

LawnMaster Alloy Mowers have double ball-bearing wheels with no bushes to wear out and ball bearings that can be tightened and (or) replaced.

BOLTED AXLE ATTACHMENTS

CUTTING HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

MOW ZONE

LawnMaster Alloy Mowers have Bolted Axles making them more more secure and robust to handle all types of mowing conditions. Bolted Axles also increases the overall life span of the mower in comparison to mowers that are fastened by clips.

LawnMaster Alloy & Steel Mowers have a 10 Position Variable Steel Height Control that is much stronger than the typical plastic height quadrants found on other brands. The cutting height adjustment can offer a height range of 10-70 mm.

LawnMaster Alloy Mowers have a Mow Zone. This enables the mower to cut beyond the wheel lines, achieving a superior finish along fences, trees, and footpaths.

ADJUSTABLE HANDLE HEIGHT

LawnMaster Alloy Mowers have an easy access wash port making it effortless to clean the underside of WASH PORTS

LawnMaster Alloy mowers have a slotted lower handle fitting which allows the handle to be adjusted further than normal for extra height

All LawnMaster mowers have simple and reliable locking mechanisms to fold the handles for easy storage, and or transport.

MULCH FUNCTION

Most LawnMaster Mowers have Mulch Plugs. Mulching is a good way to give back to the lawn as grass clippings are a natural fertilizer to help maintain a greener and more lush lawn. The Mulch Plug is easy to plugin and is used without the catcher. Mulching Tip: Mulching alleviates the need to remove grass clippings and reduces the weight of the mower for easy operation. The function should only be utilised when the lawn is relatively dry.

LawnMaster Steel mowers are fitted with a 45 litre catcher made with robust high density plastic for extended use.

LawnMaster Alloy mowers are fitted with a 47 litre catcher made with robust high density plastic to ensure longevity.

Made with both high- density plastic and fabric meshing, this 60 litre catcher is lightweight and designed to handle the extra volume of grass. Available in all lithium 18” & 20” mowers and storage is easy.

Fabric Catchers are available on all entry level mowers as well as the 16” Lithium Mowers. This catcher is small and lightweight, and dismantling for storage is easy.

QUIET & LOW NOISE. Generators are regarded as loud and invasive during operation. Inverter generators, however, use advanced sound dampening technology to keep noise to a minimum. With their closed sound-absorbing housing and baffled exhaust, they’re great for places where noise control is required and perfect for occassions such as camping, boating, and or residential emer- gency backup. COMPACT AND LIGHTWEIGHT. Inverter generators are often more compact than their traditional counterparts, making them easy to transport wherever, and whenever you need them. Their lightweight frame, and structure also allowing for easy storage. SAFE FOR ELECTRONICS. Many sensitive electronics such as cellphones, computers, and TVs, require a “clean” power source to avoid being damaged during operation. With a traditional generator, the power is fed (more or less) straight from the engine to the control panel. This means that the created electricity is not necessarily “clean” power. With an inverter generator however, the power produced by the alternator is first sent through an inverter before being sent to the outlets (hence the name inverter). Although this limits the maximum output a generator can reach for a given engine size, it also allows for a reliable and consistent electricity source free of the voltage spikes of traditional generators. That means you can plugin sensitive electronics without the fear of damage.

FUEL-EFFICIENT AND ECO-FRIENDLY. Inverter generators have special adjustments built into the engine that let them use less fuel than traditional generators. Great for saving money on fuel and the environment. The inverters have small tanks but do run for a good run time considering. The automated internal computer adjusts the generated electricity up and down depending on what’s plugged into the panel. If you need an extra boost of power, the inverter generators are equipped with an ECO-Mode switch that can be enabled or disabled depending on what is required. PARALLEL CONNECTION FOR MORE TOTAL OUTPUT With Inverter generators, two units can be linked together to provide more power as needed. Simply purchase a second LawnMaster inverter generator, along with a parallel connection kit, to increase the total wattage output of each individual outlet. IT’S SMART. Inverter generators provide real-time feedback as to how much power they are putting out, how much petrol is left, and when it is time for maintenance. Looking after your generator is easier with features like digital fuel, load, and low oil displays that are available on Inverter Generators. Note: Ultimately, the right generator for the customer depends on their requirements and needs, including the types of devices they wish to power, how much power they need, acceptable noise level and more.

MTD RIDE-ON MOWERS FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT PETROL DO I USE? •

Unleaded 91 Octane is recommended.

HOW TO MAINTAIN RIDE-ON FOR LONGER? • DO NOT travel faster than conditions allow, especially in long or damp grass. • DO NOT mow too much grass in one cut. • Slow down and/or raise the mowing deck if you detect that the engine is under too much load. • DO NOT mow too low. 25mm minimum grass height is recommended to ensure healthy grass growth and 30mm is the minimum grass height for successful mulching. • Keep the mowing deck as clean as possible. • Keep the blades sharp. Should be part of the annual service. • DO NOT wash the machine for at least 15 minutes after mowing. This will reduce moisture from penetrating the seals when bearings are hot. • Read and take note of all important detail in the operator’s manual! ROUTINE MAINTENANCE BETWEEN SERVICING • Check the dipstick prior to each operation. • Grease points on the front axle and wheel bearings need a squirt twice a year. • Clean the mowing deck frequently to prevent build-up of grass underneath. • Check tyre pressures as this can cause an uneven cut. 10-12 psi all around is adequate.

HOW OFTEN DO I CHANGE THE OIL? • “Running-in” oil requires changing after 10 hours of use. Thereafter, the oil needs changing every 50 hours of use. • Oil Filters, if equipped, are changed every 100 hours. • Oil dipsticks are fitted to all engines and should be checked prior to each use. HOW DO I START THE RIDE-ON? All MTD ride-ons are equipped with 4 safety switches that must be activated prior to starting the engine: 1. Operator must be sitting in the seat. 2. Brake lever must be locked on or brake pedal depressed. 3. Blade engagement button or lever (PTO) must be in the “off” position. 4. Engage choke if required and turn the key. Once started, push the engine throttle lever to the maximum position and engage the PTO lever. • DO NOT lower the mowing deck until the blades are at full speed. • DO NOT run the engine at less than full throttle. HOW DO I MOW MY LAWN? • HOW TO GET MULCH KITS? • With all MTD ride-ons, mulch kits can be purchased as an optional extra.
