1. Prepare Boiled Water & Equipment:

✓ Teapot ✓ Tea pitcher ✓ Teacups ✓ Tea ceremony utensils

Also prepare freshly boiled water.

2. Preheat:

▪ Pour boiling water into the pot.

▪ Drain out the water after warming the pot.

3. Tea Leaves:

▪ Put the required amount of tea leaves into the warm teapot – tea to water ratio is 1g:50ml.

4. Brewing:

▪ Pour boiling water into the pot along the wall to avoid pouring directly onto the tea leaves. ▪ The amount of water should be less than the tea leaves. ▪ Let it sit for a few seconds. ▪ After the tea is infiltrated with water, the leaves will slowly spread and open. ▪ Then pour boiling water into the pot and let the tea brew.

5. Pour the Tea:

▪

Pour the infusion into the tea pitcher.

6. Serve the Tea:

▪ Pour the tea into the teacups and serve the guests.
