MSKUS, or Musculoskeletal Ultrasound, offers a number of important advantages in terms of safety and effectiveness. This ability to capture the movement of musculoskeletal components, differentiates it from other imaging modalities, and can permit more accurate diagnoses. We can “see your pain” and help create an effective and individualized plan of care unique to you.

INGREDIENTS: • 1 pound pasta • 3–4 c fresh peas 6

• 5 scallions, thinly sliced • 1 shallot, very finely diced • 1 c chopped fresh mint • 1 c chopped Italian parsley • ½ c olive oil 9 4 2 7

INSTRUCTIONS: Boil pasta in a generous amount of salted water according to directions. While the pasta is cooking, prep the rest of the ingredients. Chop the scallions, shallots and herbs. Zest two lemons, and measure out ¼ cup lemon juice. Once the pasta is just about done, add the peas to the boiling pasta water and blanch for one minute, or just until bright green. Immediately drain, place pasta and peas in large bowl, drizzle with olive oil, lemon juice and season with 1 tsp salt and ½ tsp pepper. Toss in the pea shoots and add the scallions, shallot, herbs and lemon zest then stir. Taste, adjusting salt and lemon juice, adding more of both, if necessary. Drizzle with truffle oil and serve immediately. EXERCISE ESSENTIALS: TRY THIS MOVEMENT TO STRENGTHEN YOUR LEGS. LUNGE & TWIST Step forward with one leg. Bend your front knee as you allow your back leg to bend, and lower yourself until your forward knee is about 90 degrees. Once in this position, rotate your shoulders and torso until you feel a slight stretch in the core. Push through the heel of your lead foot and extend your hip and knee to raise yourself back up. Alternate between legs for two sets of ten reps on each side.

Get your heart rate up and make sure you walk or are active and moving every day! Frequent exercise can boost your metabolism and improve your mood. 4. JOINT AND MUSCLE MOBILITY.
