The 2021 Atlanta Family Caregiver Expo will provide an opportunity to showcase your organization to potential clients and customers. This is our third Expo and we are excited about the lives we have impacted in the past and look forward to impacting more families. We are excited to partner with Impact Church to provide a safe outdoor venue on the campus of Impact Church. In addition, the Expo will offer a Virtual option for those not able to attend in person. If COVID19 conditions require the in-person venue option to be postponed, we will continue with the virtual event on November 20, 2021 and reschedule the in person event in November 2022. Since 2017, the Expo has brought together over 70 vendors and over 200 attendees. Our attendees are family caregivers across Metro Atlanta who make direct decisions about care for their loved ones and themselves. We anticipate a significant increase in attendees due to the Virtual platform and the history of this event’s impact to lives immediately. The attendees are an audience eager to learn more about your products and/or services. In addition to the adding the virtual experience, this year’s event will broadcast live via Facebook by Up2Me Radio. Vendors will have the opportunity to speak directly to on site attendees and the virtual audience. The Expo will also play as a series on the Call For Caring on Purpose Podcast. Your participation in this event is not only for one day but will be available for broadcast indefinitely.

The goal of the Expo is to serve as a conduit that provides the family caregiver with ideas and solutions that help them better take care of their loved ones, including:

SERVICES THAT SUPPORT THE CAREGIVER ( Whose mental, spiritual and physical needs are often forgotten)

Mental and spiritual well-being, such as counseling or having a sounding board for their problems Health screenings and prevention to ensure that the caregiver’s well-being doesn’t suffer

Education to provide better care 1. Healthy cooking demos/snacks 2. Virtual Dementia Tour 3. Seminars on how to provide better, more efficient personal care • Elderl Law/Financial Planning Panel

• Caregiver Support • Meditation, Yoga

Third-party resources that ease the burden of care giving, including:

1. In-home care assistance, including respite care to give the family caregiver a break 2. Independent or assisted living facilities 3. Transportation services 4. State and county service support agencies

5. Insurance, financial and legal support 6. Medical supplies and equipment 7. Specific disease support

WE ASK THAT EACH VENDOR OFFER A TANGIBLE SERVICE TO THE CAREGIVERS DURING THE EXPO During the previous event, vendors offered flu shots, body massages, legal and financial consultations, hands only CPR, glucose/cholesterol/HIV screenings, bath salts, Virtual Dementia tours and much more. We will provide raffles thought out the day, vendors may provide prizes for the raffles. When prizes are awarded the vendor may provide a 1 minute summary about their service on the main stage. Your participation as a vendor will not only allow direct exposure to those needing your services but also network with providers that can offer reciprocal referrals. Each registered vendor will receive a minimum 2 tickets to our Vendor Networking Breakfast de- signed to meet and greet other vendors impacting this growing industry.
