EV Incentives & Rebates Cut EV Charging Installation costs with a variety of federal, state and local incentives. Casco EV360 helps you qualify for incentives, plan, design and install with ease.
Federal Incentives:
Section 30C The 2020 30C Tax Credit has been extended through 2021. The 30C credit covers 30% of the cost of a qualified property, up to $30,000 for businesses per location and $1,000 for a taxpayer’s primary residence. For property sold to a tax-exempt entity, such as a school or hospital, the seller of the property may have been able to claim the credit.
State Incentives:
CaleVIP CALeVIP and its regional incentive projects are made possible through a grant by the Energy Commission’s Clean Transportation Program (formerly known as the Alternative and Renewable Fuel and Vehicle Technol - ogy Program) that supports innovations in transportation and fuel technologies. CALeVIP is currently funded for $124.9 million through Energy Commission funds, with potential of up to $200 million. Co-funding partner contributions currently total $32,281,870.
Regional Incentives: LA DWP
California electric utilities, including the Los Angeles Department ofWater and Power (LADWP), are teaming up with the California Air Resources Board (CARB) to offer the California Clean Fuel Reward (CCFR), a point-of-sale price reduction of up to $1,500 for the purchase or lease of any eligible new battery electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle from a participating automotive retailer.

Regional Incentives: SCE
The California Air Resources Board and your electric utility are teaming up to offer the California Clean Fuel Reward. Save up to $1,500 on the purchase or lease of an eligible new Battery Electric (BEV) or Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) vehicle. PG&E PG&E Fleet Program offers infrastructure incentives and charger rebates to offset costs. SCE The California Air Resources Board and your electric utility are teaming up to offer the California Clean Fuel Reward. Save up to $1,500 on the purchase or lease of an eligible new Battery Electric (BEV) or Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) vehicle. SDGE Beginning in January 2022, SDG&E customers will be able to opt-in to the EV-HP Rate plan, a new rate structure that allows EV fleet customers to choose the amount of power they need to charge their vehicles and pay for it with a flat monthly subscription fee.
Local Incentives: PasadenaWater Power Business can get up to $50,000 for installing EV chargers. Santa Barbara APCD Receive up to $150,000 per project. San Mateo EV Ready
EV Ready plans to install 3,500 charging ports in San Mateo County over the next four years. The effort includes $24 million in project incentives and $4 million towards free technical assistance for eligible properties, support of workforce development in the county and other assorted costs. San Mateo County is expected to have more than 45,000 EVs by 2025.
