HEAD OF BUILDING OPERATIONS

Reporting to the Director of Estates Operations, the Head of Building Operations will be responsible for the strategic link between the internal stakeholders / users and FM service partners (both in-house and contracted). The department has circa 40 staff, with financial and budget responsibility for Building Operations c.£1.2m, NHS Trust services c.£6.0m and Capital / Small FM Projects c.£2.0m. It also includes management of the Stores logistics team. This role will suit professionals with a high level of personal credibility with demonstrable experience in engendering a culture of exceptional delivery at both an operational and strategic level. A proven track record in successfully managing change
and transformation will be essential including devising and implementing innovative delivery models.

Our multi-site portfolio includes our main estate in the historic South Kensington area and ranges from extensive medical teaching and research space with NHS partners across Central and West London through to a rural campus in Ascot and our new state-of-the- art campus in White City.
