We believe in human-centred design. At ADA, we are a performance-oriented group providing complete uniform and personal equipment design solutions through end-user engagement, rapid prototyping, manufacturing, all the way through to uniform program management. We believe in human-centred design. Our approach involves listening to the end-users to address design challenges and find holistic ways to engineer solutions. We continually innovate and lead the uniform industry by creating inclusive size ranges for both men and women, maintaining ethical supply chains, committing to support local manufacturing, and adopting digital technologies that allow your staff 24/7 convenience to order through customised online stores. Since 1912, ADA has outfitted Australia’s fighting forces through two World Wars and humanitarian efforts, playing an instrumental role in creating what has become the iconic visual image of the “Australian Digger”. Today, our designs are worn across Defence, Law Enforcement, Healthcare, Firefighting and Emergency Services. As always, from the inception, our garments are designed as a system to integrate effectively for functionality and fit, creating a uniform that is role-specific, user-friendly, and comfortable. Our purpose is to optimise and enhance the performance of those who wear our clothing. Our promise: to find a way forward with agility and skill.

FROM DESIGN TO DISTRIBUTION A total asset management solution for uniforms
RAPID PROTOTYPING ADA has the capability to move from scalable prototyping to mass production under one roof. Our head office located in Thomastown, Victoria houses design specialists, research teams and machinists, providing the ability to accelerate and produce a single product demonstration model swiftly.
LOCAL MANUFACTURING The ADA Bendigo Factory is one of Australia’s largest remaining dedicated uniform manufacturing facilities. Spanning over 5775 sqm and situated on 2.023 Hectares, the iconic building is one-of-its- kind, supplying high-grade bespoke uniforms and body armour to the Australian Defence Force (ADF). Today, the state-of-the-art Bendigo manufacturing facility has over 120 textile specialists ranging from CAD operators, machinists, and quality officers. Take a tour of the Bendigo facility by scanning the QR code or visit: ada.com.au/VirtualTour .
ACCREDITED BY ETHICAL CLOTHING AUSTRALIA
Did you know ADA was the first business accredited with Ethical Clothing Australia 21 years ago and remains accredited today? ADA’s commitment to creating actionable change began when we applied for accreditation with ECA protecting and advocating for the rights of garments workers. ECA’s audit covers workers in design, pattern making, cut, make, trim, value-adding, dispatch and outworkers throughout the supply chain for all locally made garments produced at ADA’s Bendigo manufacturing facility.
CUSTOMISED ONLINE STORES Our in-house IT teams allow ADA to create customised online stores to manage uniform demands for our clients. The end-to-end e-commerce portals cover fit, order and dispatch of garments to simplify the distribution of the most complex uniform wardrobes.
