IMPORT / EXPORT COORDINATOR WE ARE HIRING
Full time position / Monday to Friday / Salary negotiable depending on experience / Annual company bonus, plus other benefits.
To support the Supply Chain Manager with the management of Imports, Exports and Customs ensuring compliance with HMRC and current regulations. The suitable candidate will come from an import & export background & have a broad understanding of the overall customs process as well as a knowledge of export procedures & customs tariffs. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
GENERAL : • Conduct monthly customs checks, identify customs risks to prevent & mitigate violations, implementing any corrective & preventative actions • Keep business informed of any material changes in customs legislation • Maintain communication & records regarding general HMRC entries, tariff classification of commodity codes, binding tariff information, tolling entries & HMRC audits

Manage communications with freight forwarders & couriers
Coordinate air & sea freight customs clearances Manage communications with freight forwarders Ensure correct declaration of duty & VAT
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure all exports have correct export license & return shipment paperwork • Liaise with suppliers & manage the reverse process for warranty repairs • Diligently monitor entry status, intervene as necessary & respond to information requests from Customs • Support the Supply Chain Manager with export licence applications
